Danya and Peter THE BEST commentator combo. Some but not too much emphasis on drama & minute attention paid to explaining the technical details. Well done!
@@eufrosniad994 quite the opposite haha, the endgame has much more complexity, the number of possible moves and strategy is more than in the middle game or opening. That’s why Magnus is known for his endgame strength, he has a great intuition for it

I think Ding is staring to get under Gukesh's skin by forcing all this draws. I wouldn't be surprised if Gukesh plays more risky in the second half of the set
finally a mature comment. many people here not even accepting the age gap between them. number of experiences due to age really a plus point especially in high pressure situations like this match.
Can people please stop talking about Gukesh's age. There were many players more talented than Gukesh at 18. Just because he is young, doesn't give him a free pass to play weak.
@@Pottahverse143 Saying that there are more talented players than Gukesh at 18 yet he is the youngest ever to be in the candidates can you validate your statement?
What a fantastic game of chess! Really enjoyed it today. Well done both players. Great defending from Ding and Gukesh deserved more but a fair result in the end. Amazing!
Recoursefulness and grit. It isnt even that clear white is winning in any of the lines. There were always some chances with Dings pieces getting active (including the king).
Gukesh should not be concerned too much about what Kramnik or Carlsen say. Neednot go after to answer them. IT IS TIME TO FOCUS ON OWN PREPARATION AND STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE NOISE.Liren is a stable and well experienced player who choked Nepo, if waiting for last games, it WILL BE DIFFICULT.
so many stupid questions in the press conference, imagine playing such an exciting game against a top player, having to calculate immensely for many hours and then that... poor players
Its called passion. Have you ever played OTB chess? Pressing against a strong player for 70 moves and keeping concentration for hours drains your brain to an extreme. Some other players smash up hotel rooms or camera-personell, so Gukeshs behavior is absolutely adequate and acceptable.

what a game, ding started blitzing top engine moves
I think doing it in the endgame in classical is more likely since the number of pieces are less. Still impressive for sure.

It feels the opposite, super GMs almost always draw endgames not much potential to win in that phase
What a defence from ding 😬🔥
Now this is a game worthy of its spot in eternity. What an insane draw
I honestly can’t even imagine the feeling Ding had after the pieces were finally cleared. What a game.
Every move past move 30 or so was absolutely critical

People hating on Gukesh for "only drawing". The kid is just 18 years old and playing in the world championship. The pressure must be immense.
