Lucid Daydream is a visual poem recalling the timeless and visceral experience of watching the sun rise Directed by Bryce Saucier Voiceover by Jess Howard
I love this film, I legitimately reckon it's one of my favourites. I recommend it to people. It's a beautiful, unique piece of work. Very individual, simple and inspiring. Makes me wonder what I could do with films. Thank you for creating and sharing this wonderful piece of work, I'm so glad it's here 🙏
Simple, and incredibly shot! Amazing how you've taken the poetry of the everyday, and allowed that beauty to transcend through stark, vibrant Super 8 cinematography. Great job!
Beautiful film, the 250D looks great! How many rolls of film did you end up shooting? I'm always fascinated by super8 filmmakers because I feel like editing in camera is more normal to conserve the film.
Beautiful! I enjoyed both the imagery and dialogue. Would have been nice however to use manual exposure when panning past the people looking at the sunrise.

Thank you, and agreed! The camera I had used was fully auto so the exposure change in that scene unfortunately couldn’t be controlled
This is the most beautiful use of super 8 film. What super 8 camera was used for this?
Thank you! It was a chinon 213 xl
