That officer did a great job of de-escalation! She handled things very well and helped keep the lady relatively calm between outburst when she would get upset, and then the officer would bring her right back down to a reasonable level… I am beginning to feel really bad for some of these people who have been so deluded by what they’ve been told by the media, and by our government that they are victims because of their race or their sexual orientation, etc. it just seems cruel at some point that these people believe such a thing and have it not be reality. I don’t know how we begin to change their attitudes and beliefs now.
