The only thing harder than canceling a Planet Fitness membership is getting out of a Timeshare contract.
Tyrus has always been articulate, level headed, and amusing.
I had a hell of a time stopping my membership at 24 Hour Fitness....... I had to actually get into a shouting pushing match to make them stop billing me.......They finally gave up when I said I was going to my bank to cancel my credit card...... They threatened to call the police if I didn't stop yelling at them..... A couple of spectators encouraged me to get rowdy.
What a fantastic interview. I used to think Tyrus was a fake, but I couldn't be more wrong. He is super intelligent and lots of people recognized that before now.
As a 66-yr-old woman, I miss the 'old ways' too, Tyrus. I love watching you and agree with almost everything you say on shows like this, Tyrus and Timf, and Gutfeld! (I will need to find your 'Maintaining with Tyrus') We need people like you - and The Babylon Bee!!!!! Thanks guys!
If Tyrus said he wanted to.punch me, I would have a deep self reflection on how I had gone so far astray. He's a cool cat.
Parents quit teaching their children manners, it's sad but true.
I was taught men were put here to protect women and children. Call me toxic, my wife, kids, and grandkids are pretty happy with it. My wife points out opportunities for me to be toxic. She's always like "That lady is having a hard time reaching that." "That man seems like he is harassing that lady." "That elderly person is struggling to get this done" etc...
They thrive on 95% of their members not using their facilities. They are in the "selling memberships to unfit people who will never show up business" more than anything else.
My bucket list includes see Tyrus in person on stage ❤!! Or just to meet him in person. He just makes the points we all want to make, but with such ease.
I'm with Tyrus. I've never hit anybody that didn't deserve it.

Omg, i have a gym membership cancelation story! It's not a national chain but our local hospital has a fitness center. When i was a teacher my husband and I had a membership at that gym. I got pregnant and was very sick. I couldn't talk to anyone, much less call this gym to cancel my membership. I had my mother call bc obviously my husband and I were very tied up with my pregnancy and hospitalization. After our daughter was born and i things kind of went back to normal, i was trying to sort our finances out. As i went through our mail, i found this statement from the gym, they kept charging us! We owed them almost a grand! I called and contested this bill. I was told i had to come into the gym to cancel and that nobody could cancel our membership by phone, not even us! That bill never got paid! That was ridiculous!
Sounds like PF picked up Bally's gyms old habits. Early 90's trying to cancel a gym membership was like herding cats. Idk if they still do it, but back then to join a gym, you had to link it to your bank account so they knew they'd get paid. You go in, you cancel, they keep the ETF lines open. It was literally easier to cancel your bank account and open a new one. Never looked at another gym again. Besides, it's easier and cheaper to work out at home, more so now than ever before with access to on-demand videos.
Tyrus is right about Facebook! Facebook does nothing to help when there is any problem with their sites! I hope Tyrus does sue ! Maybe then they will take responsibility for what they allow and don't allow! Love Tyrus!
Tyrus is a great man. I love his attitude and personality and beliefs. His wife and kids are so fortunate to have him
I joined planet fitness when it opened here in Moses Lake, Washington and left after about a month because they would not clean the shit out of the men’s restroom because the toilet overflowed and insisted on waiting until the plumber got there to clean it up. I don’t know why you need a plumber to clean up shit out of the bathroom floor And they yelled at me for somebody else, not wiping down their machine because they “watched the floor like a hawk “and tried to make it my issue about someone else not wiping down the machine which I replied if it’s such a big deal mention it to them or just go wipe the damn thing down yourself and cancel my membership immediately
Tyrus just went up 10 clicks on my "Like" meter. I can't said Morgan.
