I just wanted to come on here and give Joh the biggest praise. I was able to contact him personally and he so kind to answer all my questions and walk me through all the procedures. I am very grateful and this content is what the dealerships should be doing for their customers everywhere.
As an owner of a 2020 Guila QV that is on its 3rd battery after less than 3 years, my extreme compliments to you on a very thorough presentation of knowledge. Previously I have given this problem over to the dealership but now I can handle it directly. 25:35 My full thanks.
Very informative video with all the small details needed to do the job right. I will check my 2023 Giulia Speciale (Verde Montreal) tomorrow. Thanks from the West Coast of Canada.
I appreciate your knowledge on these. Wish I had contacted you a while back. wasted money listening to my local dealer. Regardless thanks a bunch for your vids
I very much appreciate this video. I'm bringing my Giulia home this weekend and going to clean the terminals and coat them with Dielectric grease just to be safe.
Great video! I love my 2018 Quad and just dealt with a slightly low/cold battery last week. I keep it on a trickle charger every day but I used a lot of battery power moving the driver's seat when I was chasing down a squeak last week. I've owned the car since new and do a lot of service myself. I was pretty sure it was the recent cold snap and power drain so I looked into it and found a replacement battery available from local parts stores just it case. After a full day on the trickle charger and a long trip, it was back to normal. I will check the voltage too because it is 5 years old now. Thanks for the detailed instructions. It will save a ton when it's time to replace.
You're the man I just did the pump for the sluggish behavior relay which was accessible in the wheel well. My AC motor quit working yesterday I'm going to replace basically both of those two just because I'm going to be doing it anyways. Thanks for the heads up!
You can clear it in park by turning all the way left hold then right hold. Then turn it off and on. Same thing just you don’t have to drive. Great video
Turning the wheel while driving rather than being stationary reduces the loads on steering components, thus slightly increasing their longevity. Of course, it's not every day you have to clear the codes after re-connecting the battery, but the general principle still remains.
@@Wojt0n yes but like you mentioned honestly how often are you going to be doing this? It’s much better to have it cleared before you go driving so you can see if you have any faults that don’t go clear right away. This is guide is made for people with out OBD2 code readers other wise that takes the place of disconnecting the battery to clear faults 2018 up require sgw bypass to clear codes
Thank you for the great tutorial! I saw a QV you have for sale ..tad bit out of my budget but wish it was a little less and I would have pulled the buy trigger.
Amazing video! Can you buy the starter really from an auto parts store or does it have to be from the dealer? Do you have to unplug the battery before replacing the starter relay? Thanks
What extra do we need to replace the battery? Besides the strap and one nut that you mention. My 2017 Giulia still has the original and i want to replace it soon. Thanks for the great video.
Will you pin the AC Delco part number version ❤. I just left AutoZone they had no idea they had a universal one but it didn't look the same and it was a different brand then ACDelco
Hey John, I have a 2019 Giulia Sport and when I go to shut it off. The car shuts off but my accessories are staying on. If you could please help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for sharing content! I have a 2018 Stelvio with the 2.0 engine. I replaced the battery for a bigger Varta 95A AGM i think this will last longer than original. I have a question about starting up, my Stelvio need somethimes a long crank before it starts up, do you know what the problem could be?
To reset the code after a battery reset you don’t need the car the be in motion. You can simply turn left lock to right lock then back to center and restart.
ruclips.net/video/F8F3TqIvpao/видео.html You probably don’t need it anymore but for anyone else that comes along here’s a link to a tutorial on a DIY Giulia oil change. I performed it myself so I can vouch for it lol
From a new Alfa owner, this is a great video with excellent explanations. Thank you.

I dropped the relay cover in my Giulia when I replaced the starter relay. Is it possible to get a new cover? I can't even see it in the compartment.
Thx bro. Appreciate the link on Facebook. ❤
