I'm at the 36 minute mark and wondering when CG will realize the blizzard keeps Purple from reaching Denmark and getting the bonus on "Central Europe", which is why they aren't going for it.

The wildest part of this game is that the entire lower half of the board is a two point hold and those two points are also capitals

When purple attacks white, you should've just teamed up on white with him. If you get the capital in the balkans you get all of the south of the map where they can't break your bonus, that's just an auto win position
these guys just want to passive to the win then complain that other people arent progressing the match

Yeah I'm not sure what the plan was there. I assume he was probably distracted with all of the stuff going on up north.
@@kingacrisius Maybe he didn't want to get to far in the lead. If he would grab that white might have feeled threatend by how many troops per turn he would be getting and teaming up on him.
They did anyways later on, but he couldn't know that at that point.

I feel like you forgot that purple and red had a border between france and great britain everytime you talked about cardblocking either of them
Purple couldn’t progress game he was at war with red on his back doorstep the whole time. You and white were the ones that had to progress but you played it calm and patient but you only won this because white botted out.
I tried to progress it but red and white were teaming against me and purple wasn't able/wasn't willing to help me. I can't card block two players that are working together against me. If white hadn't botted out, I have no idea what I could have done there to deal with the 2v1 I was facing.
Your cap choice was bad, had a god cap in north Italy that would have done the same without card blocking, stacking 3*100 stacks is crazy risky, without that white bot you would have lost... Still, you should have been breaking white while stacking on bottom cap, when white decides to take north Africa you would have a 300 stack to counter and take all of the bottom (but don't open the cap)

Trust left the chat. If purple card blocked red, they could worked together to eliminate him then have a 1v1, it’s how the game works
one thing i think you could have done better is leave 2 in each location on the alps that way the attackers would lose more than you.
You should attack white when him and purple where fighting cus you could snow ball and the game would be 30 m

You were talking about not wanting the bot to stack next to your capital in Italy, but at the time - why not just let them? They'd never be able to break you, you didn't really gain anything by card trading at that point (mostly breaking even), and them stacking there would basically give you extra defense.
31:30 white player moves out to give red a card. you can move where white moved from and continue the card block of red. unless hes stacked if hes stacked you can move at any time back to a more favorable position to you.

Yeah, so this seems a lot more interesting than progressive card bonuses.
In fixed, a card is worth, at max, like... 4 troops, yeah? Where as in progressive, a card can be worth, 10, 15 and up very fast. Cards become a *lot* less important in fixed.

I thought white was intermediate, he was too aggressive for being an expert, but he seemed to understand card blocking and that its often better to be friendly with your neighbors, otherwise its just mutual assured destruction.
I strongly prefer no alliances, blizzards and fog of war, progressive or fixed whatever i like to play. Fixed usually takes a bit longer then progressive.
I have been playing similar settings, but I use neutral bots. It's much better when someone just quits. Try using those in addition to your current settings. Keep making great content.

@@tomb6776 You usually do, in progressive at least. In fixed it's less important because you usually can't be surprise attacked with way more troops than you were expecting

@@JKingSniper that's simply wrong, the only situations where it makes no sense to have a stack on cap is if it's guarded by another cap or you're willingly giving a cap to an opponent. Troops off cap are so much easier to slam and leaving both capitals vulnerable like that is short sighted
