One thing I like about Mustaine is that he usually lets Junior speak for the band, he doesn’t hog the microphone. And when he’s on stage, he allows the guitarist to be in the spotlight if they have a solo to perform.
Some videos are hard to watch, but this is eerily prophetic! I had to stop it to process Dave's scanning the future to see where the Rodney King beatings would go; his playful banter with Junior who he would acrimoniously fire with the most spurious of reasons three decades later, and his resolve to oppose Justis ever becoming what Wolfgang Van Halen became! He explained it though, with a functioning brain, you can observe where mankind is headed and amaze everyone.

Was watching Eddie do his Hammer- on and I remember the clip ‘88 or so of Dave where he’s hosting and he goes “ You want to see my Hammer - On?” And there’s a guitar lying in front of him and next thing you know he pulls out a real Hammer and starts smashing it to pieces. Can’t find it. Such talent but he always seemed like he all ready knew and was on the edge of socking you if you said something he thought was stupid. Lol

I disagree on the voice. Ellefson has more bass sound coming through, like a really good radio host. But I agree on the shadow part haha
What used to amaze me was how identical KK Downing and Glen Tipton of Judas Priest speak.

Thrash metal , especially the bay area bands , wrote very environmentally conscience lyrics.
