I think it’s amazing how you’d never expect Dave Mustaine to be on British Television, it’s almost out of place but it’s great to see him on something like Buzzcock, would be great to have seen him in something like 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown
Aye, Megadeth has some of the most recognizable riffs in the history of metal. I'd play a medley of Megadeth riffs at school some time and anyone who'd heard of Megadeth instantly recognized them. They've got an awesome sound as well.
@ChudzProductions Yeah, it's pretty weird - some videos are even older, like 1998. It's simply because the television channels n stuff put the original airdates on them.
@BBCWorldwide You Must get ZAKK WYLDE on BBCworldwide .. Zakk Wylde (Guitarist) / Vocalist Black Label Society, Pride & Glory, Book of Shadows. He also Jammed with Ozzy Osbourne.
@MaidenBeMyGuide however, the scandinavian bands are not so influenced by british bands but rather opera, symphonic orchestras and things like that.Metallica and Megadeth would still exists but with different influences maybe. This sounds like one of those time machine/space scenarios of "what if"
@obsessedwgaming It was VH1 music Jeopardy, not the regular Alex Trebec version, but Mustaine did indeed clean everyone else's clock. That was the moment I fell in love with the man. I wouldn't mind seeing how Dave did on Celebrity Jeopardy with Trebec, however. I'd have to record that. I imaging he's acquit himself quite well.
I agree with ya. Endgame is a sick album. I agree with the Modern day Rust In Peace. I enjoy Rust In Peace a lot, but Endgame has a lot of potential. Its Clear and the drums are sick. No one can really expect another Rust In Peace considering people change and with time so will the music. So how about everyone stop bitching about Endgame. Dave is funny in the vid.
I dont know what youtubes advertising polices are, maybe they you attach the adds to popular content, i'm surprised the BBC arnt telling them to take down and BBC content.
@MaidenBeMyGuide rolling stones also influenced these guys alot. any of that heavy stuff from the 60's to when they started. :) tho its nice to finally see someone who has some knowledge on here.
Dave looked so young for so long, then overnight he aged about 60 years. Love him though, best songwriter in heavy metal
I bet that was about the time he embraced Jesus. The devil keeps you young.
Same with Asians they look 12 then like the old guy from Kill Bill.
thrash*
thrash*
JumpinJackFlash1989 NO, best songwriters in heavy metal are Glenn Tipton, K.K. Downing and Rob Halford of Judas Priest.
despair and disillusionment are essential moments in the progress of the intellectual soul
In other words, he doesn't know
I read this at the exact moment he said it lol
it's priceless to see dave laughing. rare, you know.
I think it’s amazing how you’d never expect Dave Mustaine to be on British Television, it’s almost out of place but it’s great to see him on something like Buzzcock, would be great to have seen him in something like 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown
He did this but unlike Metallica was never on that dreadful carpool karaoke (I hope he didn't anyway)

This is excellent! Dave is pretty funny in this :P
@obsessedwgaming It was VH1 music Jeopardy, not the regular Alex Trebec version, but Mustaine did indeed clean everyone else's clock. That was the moment I fell in love with the man.
