Churro is definitely a stubby chonk chonk chonk boi and is so cute! I love the little details and the dots remind me of how reptiles and amphibians have translucent skin with dots all over. That clay gradient makes my heart sing and love that tail shape!
He looks like the kind of pet that would be getting in to trouble XD Like maybe he would go chasing frogs or come home covered in mud leaving cute little muddy foot prints everywhere.

And for salvador, the long limbs paired with a potential water theme... my brain goes right to bigfin squid! Theyre pretty spooky and we know very little about them, with only a few mature adults ever being recorded!! Or maybe a blanket octopus since they have big beautiful "wings" !
He turned out so cute! Now this is what I call a great ajolote rendition 💙 love the color pallet, those turquoise and yellow accents contrasts beautifully with the pink. All those colors along with the little dots are very alebrije looking, also! The name fits him great and I’m so happy to watch projects inspired by our Mexican fauna 🥰

He’s absolutely adorable and I’m in love! Just an fyi. UV resin and nail polish are just as toxic as regular resin and should be protected against with ppe until it’s fully cured. They get overlooked a lot in the safety areas because there’s a lot of false information out there that says they aren’t as toxic as they are. Please wear gloves and some sort of protective mask to protect yourselves! But anyways, he came out perfectly! Can’t wait to see what you make next!

UV resin answers! The reason why it's still sticky is because it cures so quickly it doesn't actually cure all the way. So to get rid of the stickiness you're supposed to cure it for another 10-15 minutes depending on how big the project is. That sometimes includes both sides... ALSO to get rid of fingerprints on the cured resin acetone is gonna be your best friend..

Man this concept (axolotl dragons) reminds me of when I was younger and I first learned of the axolotls existence and my small 7 year old self decided she wanted to make it a dragon I really want to remake my old dragon species now
The only ideas I can think of for Salvador would be having him themed as a faerie dragon or if you planned for him to also be a pet for your dragoness doll. Maybe having him be either themed as fire or air dragon. Oh, or he can be a moon dragon!
I think a water nymph inspiration for the dragoness would be amazing, since nymphs tend to be pond/lake-oriented. Obviously still a dragon, aside! But just something to think about :)

a UV resin trick, sometimes the resin doesnt cure in the presence of air, so a thin layer of purified water over the piece and then cure again, usually does the trick!

I would recommend putting a glossy varnish or resin on his eyes to make them shiny
I put 3 coats of glossy varnish on his eyes and omg it's so difficult to photograph because of the shine, never again 😅
