8yrs late, but no none of CReddy's cars are/were speed modded. If you played with a steering wheel n pedal setup doing launches like these were/are still possible. Actual speed mods are for slow spergs with no skill.

I use a G25, that's how the crazy 6th gear launch then I drop it into the correct gear, pumping the gas makes the car go faster for some reason on this game lol

there is no drag race mode. Technically people make it in race Editor and then launch it ...there is also two drag strips.
