- Two of the world's most celebrated Scottish bagpipers, Willie MacCallum & Angus MacColl, perform with the Spirit of Scotland Pipe Band at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall during Celtic Connections 2012. They will soon be joined by piping superstar Stuart Liddell and drumming greats Jim Kilpatrick and Mike Cole on a road trip down America's legendary Mother Road, Route 66. Two of the best
Nice to hear one of my tunes being played.
It's enough to warm the heart of an old Scot by lineage.
Two of the Best for sure. Thanks
great teacher
WOW! Absolutely Wonderful, Excellent!
He's the best competition piper, his record speaks to that, but that's just one aspect of the art form.

RAIGMORE- what a classic h/p
love it. it just gets inside me. :D
@mawxee I hope to at least be able to offer the concert online as streaming video. But just like with ON THE DAY, there are music clearance issues to be dealt with.
World class! what are the tunes after Raigmore called?
What is the name of that first tune? Ive been onsessed with it since I heard the black watch play it but cant find a title for it to find the music. If anyone knows the title (or even better, has the music) PLEASE let me know!
+mattrmorrison Unfortunately finding the music won't be easy. Nobody knows who owns the copyrights to this tune. You'll probably be better off learning it by ear.
The very first tune is variously known as Duncan Johnstone or Raigmore.
I could give you the music for it. Its called Raigmore
The composer is on this thread! Alastair Reece
What is the name of the 2nd tune Angus plays?
What is the name of the tune at 2:40?
what is the first tune that maccol plays?
“Room 35”
@@dustineden698 Can the sheet music for that tune be found/ bought anywhere?
Will there be a DVD out or so?
Cheers!
