The red tram is an eyesore compared to the pleasant green ones. Loved those journeys, thank you.

Enjoyed the Nottingham tram videos 1-5 in HD. Got to see a lot of Nottingham as the tram navigates through various communities and streets that one wouldn't think a tram would go. Loved the parallel route with the rapid transit train where the tram could increase speed. Interesting routes via a beautiful tram. Thanks for the videos, Mbta, much appreciated.

So COOL! Yah it's amazing how they share a lane with cars on the street, yielding to the right of way then later they share the same right of way on quad gate level crossings with the big boy trains. I learned alot about these guys. I find the signals are very interesting, simple and straight to the point. " I " Go " __ " Stop " / " Diverge I think.... This will definitely come in handy when I'm building my tram routes on my Rail Simulator. Thanks for sharing mbta3247!

Trams have narrower curve radius (as low as 10,5 m) then a bus, being a rail based transport so they would definitely go better in curves then 12 meter city buses.

I heard someone buying a ticket behind you. Was buy before you board not a thing on Nottingham trams then?

Correct. NET operated with 2-person crews in its early years, with a conductor issuing tickets onboard the train.

Will you be doing the same for both of the new lines when they're completed?

Good set of video's from the drivers point of view.
A system similar to the also ever expanding Manchester metrolink, altough everything on this system has a more "friendly" look to me, I think by avoiding structures and colors that detonate with the suroundings, the stops have structures and furniture in natural stone and metal colors and low fencing is used in most places, this in counterpart with the Metrolink where a screaming yellow is used in abundance.
Do the speed restriction signs state kilometre per hour, as 80mph seems a bit bold for a tram to me?

      Yes, it's kilometres
