Every round you just get trained into the dirt and I can't seem to get any pressure rolling because I've got 2-3 kicks up my ass and every stun in the game and even at 1600 healers are dispelling the shit out of flame shock
Hey @Fnfal2020 I'll try to record an analysis of a melee lobby where I perform well. The key is to outplay their first set of cooldowns without burning too many of your own defensives for the second and third rounds. Focus on dragging them out of their healer's line of sight, forcing the healer to push in and risk getting CC'd by your teammates. Maximize Thunderous Paws to kite away-think of it like a mini freedom. Use Earthgrab Totem on cooldown to punish dispels and frustrate the enemy team, and hex their root dispels on DPS. Defensive Bloodlust on your healer can help them survive with just their cooldowns if they're out of CC, allowing you to hold your defensives. You can also swap Grounding Totem for Burrow if you're not facing a Druid, or drop Totem of Wrath for Burrow as an extra defensive layer when going against cleaves.
If your team mates don’t peel your are f-ed. There’s literately nothing you can do if two melees decide to zug zug you and your team mate tunnel visions on doing his burst.
Hey! Currently you can get the 1600 token tier, once you get 1600 in any bracket & you can turn in one of your conquest pieces to tier at the catalyst - as the weeks go by you can turn more gear into tier but im only running 2set.
Its nice to be able to CC the healer on you and your teammates DPS goes especially if you're playing the burst build but with any build its generally good to try and cc the healer when you burst!
Any reason you didn’t craft the weapon with the Darmoon Ascendance reagent? New to the whole crafting side of things and thought that was optimal to get a boost earlier on. Thoughts?
Hey I am testing the darkmoon ascendance on my wep and it feels kinda nice. On EU though they are running a embellishment on your armoury that procs dmg based off of the color gems that you wear. So since we can wear fire gems that means we proc quite often as ele. That might be the move!
@@Mike2137 Right now, thunder feels very strong! Ele is normally just really good with whatever is currently really op. Dev,war,mage, & lock to name a few. Ele ww monk is probably really good.
I could use some advice for my ele shaman. What am I suppose to do against a warrior that pops all cds to 100 to 0 my hp bar as they stick to me like glue? Keep in mind I have to survive their immune to CC window. Even in 1v1 scenarios? I just come across so many warriors of late and I just get turned into food for them lol
So while they are doing their spin you can burrow and immune all their dmg, wait till they are non immune root them run max range, when they charge you knock them back with thunderstorm, if they leap lasso them and run max range of lasso (you could also root here), while this is going on you could also be doing dmg pop spirit walkers if he gets on you to immune kick. When they finally get to you after their cds have prob poped everything right away you can either earth ele stun into hex then heal to full life or you can press wall and go for the all in.

Hey @arkaniya love your profile pic, yes I actually have! When I need consistent on demand burst or when I am the "burst build" the on use one is good. I've been surprised by the uptime of this proc trinket some games though I feel like it procs back to back sometimes.
Hey friend! Yes I try and pop it after I have flame shock on everyone on the enemy team. You can choose to hold your prime wave when you pop it because sometimes people react with defensive cds too ascendence but generally I try and pop ascendence lust and aura mastery at the start of games to get pressure rolling.
Great question! The main purpose of Earthquake in the arena is to stop healers from drinking. It's also useful if the enemy team is stacked together, especially around a pillar where they might be trying to line of sight you. (but this almost never happens)

@@TheBlizzG So primordial wave casts flameshock on the target. The purpose of having ns and prime wave bound together is not only so that I have a lava surge cast every time I press prime wave to guarantee summon 2 ancestors being out when im bursting.
I see now . For some reason it doesn’t work on the target dummy so I thought something was wrong with the macro or i was missing something. Thanks again .
Hey @georgeskountouflis3136 you have to go to a pvp dummy flame shock it and hover the debuff, it'll say flameshock is ticing ever 1.X seconds and you want it to say 1.5 at least. The rest of your stat I have been putting into crit.
Does reagent quality of materials matter if I want to craft something like the Algari Competitor's Signet PvP ring? Like the Marbled Stone, for example...

Hey @alexhtx8932 Farseer feels really nice in arena since you don't have the cast as much, and you can build up big instant cast bust with earth shock and using all of its modifiers! Ancestors are basically guaranteed damage on a earth shock or damage global so they feel nice when you stack it all together.

Yeah i mean at least when i tried it mastery didn't feel too good. Im testing full haste versa now with dark moon embellish and the other embellish that buffs it and it feels nice.
@@61RAPID Hey dude, I use classic numbers. I change up some settings to make the numbers a little less cluttered and to shorten it a bit. I’ll likely make a video showing exactly how I setup my UI.
Im still sticking with Haste then Mastery then Crit. This is only because when the rework comes down the pike Mastery will catapult ahead of Crit big time. I'll suffer for a month until then, I'm fine with that.

Quick question, is Catalyst the only way to get pvp tier set? If so, is there any difference in stats between those 2 excluding the iLvl buff for pvp

I got my second piece of set gear from getting 1,600 or more in any bracket. You get a token mailed to you which then you can buy gear with.

I think the min haste level you need is 8600 but I am playing at around 8800.

It doesn't matter for pvp but it makes the item harder to craft for whoever is crafting it.

It'll be giving lava surge in the next patch, But for right now thats not in the game.

You'll have stormkeeper in a month so you might want crit for that. But yeah lava is getting buffed back up so this is one prospective.
