I had never really listened to rice's music, but now that I have, I've noticed something. Most of his music isn't terrible; it's just so aggressively mediocre that it's hard to listen to. Domt get me wrong, a lot of his music is shit. But, it's like there are times when he has good beats, but the lyrics trash. Then, there are times when he has bad beats, but the lyrics are decent or even pretty good. Another issue he's got is that his delivery just isn't there most of the time. He struck silver once or twice, sure, but his whole discography is bronze or worse. At least when JJ has a bad song he hit back with a banger later on. JJ hasn't missed lately, but rice just can't seem to hit anywhere near the mark.
