Except of those, only Pocock had any ticker. The rest of them were flat-track bullies. If everything was going well, they'd go well. Only Pocock was a star when the chips were down.

my dad use to coach him in little leagues for burleigh bears and even at age 12-14ish o’connor was a beast to watch! my dad always said he was too good to even coach, he’d just let him do his thing on the field lol.

He made his Super15 debut at 17 years of age and international debut with the Wallabies at only 18 years of age. Played his first world cup at 21 years of age and was probably one of the most composed players in the whole team among some experienced players in there

I'm welsh, and we've had some heartbreak against the wallabies, but i've loved watching you guys since i first saw Larkham play, i love your style of rugby, and I don't think any player on Earth looks as exciting as James O'Conner right now

What a huge talent. Such a shame that he was such a complete prat and just seemed incapable or unwilling to change. Now as we enter the 2015 RWC and the team has been announced, it looks as though his amazing talent will not been seen in a Wallaby jersey in England.

Australian rugby proved unable to mentor a talent like O'Connor. Fortunately European rugby was able to help him.

@Hamdogrocks Beale's momentum is what carries the ball forward. The players are both running forwards extremely quickly. When you judge a forward pass you judge the motion of the passer, whether he released it behind himself or in front , not the starting and ending position of the ball. The IRB released a video about it. Search "IRB forward pass" on youtube and you'll get it. It was a perfectly good pass (besides being too low).

As an aussie who hates the current wallabies squad, oconnor is the shining star in a team full of pompous deadshits, and hes only 21. Only good things can come from this precious talent
Being his age, he could be still be playing by the 2023 world cup!
