I was once in a commander league that had a limit of $1 per card, and commander didn't count. Had someone come in with Angus Mackenzie. Was very funny how badly that deck did. Muldrotha, Karador, and Edgar Markov were some of the top decks. I love budget restrictions. Wonderful game.
Love this, been really fun brewing in the $50 sans commander space. Really creates balanced games
NGL that intro outro music is Catchy!! Props to the UI showing the players and their life totals with it cuts to convos! Budget decks are so great! Super powerful pod! Great episode! Now Off to Jersey Mike's!
16:12 I’m sorry, but a little thing here: Flipping up a creature from manifest, morph, convert, whatever doesn’t count as an ETB, as it never changes zones.

I wanna make mono green again, I'm stuck between doing Marwyn or Ezuri. Ezuri renegade leader is pretty nice because he has a pump ability on him, but Marwyn is really powerful, even on a budget. I did consider Yeva, Nature's herald once but the hype for that deck is long since dead, but it goes in the 99 for sure

Mono green gets targeted all the time but people keep telling me that green is weak now if it’s a weak color then how come everybody always targets the mono green player 😂😅go green
I think the specification that matters is that 'Green is weak' in regards to cEDH. Where every color is playing their best stuff. White is nerfed from social contract(no Armageddon or similar 'balance' effects), red has Underworld Breech and Dockside, two of the strongest cedh cards right now. Blue is always powerful, free counters. Black has Ad Nauseam, a card you don't see below cEDH. And since cEDH doesn't care about social contracts, White gets all it's hatebears unlocked. Namely, Drannith Magistrate.
17:05 arbor elf can either untap a forest or add a green mana. It cant tap to untap the forest and create a green mana through rishkars passive simultaneously... also the manifest card doesnt enter the battlefield when flipped, so the beastiary shouldnt have triggered to draw. Yikes. Lots of misplays so far

Where's the Marwyn decklist? Also of course the Tymna/Thrasios player doesn't include the commanders in the $50 budget, literally $50 in those 2 cards. XD
Not including the commanders in the budget is such a copout

They didn't really though, 50 bucks in the 98 isn't really that different than 50 including the commander/commanders
@@BertFromOhio It wasn't $50 including the commander for him. The commanders are about $50 total and then the 98 is about $50. $100 =/= $50
$50 sitting on the command zone and you always have asses to it
