@@ragnkja- Until you get a certain age... I'm 42 and 5 foot tall. I use to not think twice about climbing on a counter top. Now? I have to use different tactics. I'm crippled and I walk with a crutch. I don't think twice about using it to swipe something off a higher shelf, especially in public. I don't have time to wait for a taller person to walk by. I love it when I use it to help people who aren't handicapped to reach stuff. However it does have it's drawbacks. I was getting a bag of diapers for a friend's baby shower and when I knocked one down, another came with it. Luckily, my face was there to catch it. Even more luckily, no one saw. 😏

You've inspired me. Now i dehydrate meals as i make them at home. I am a plant-based eater and thats how i want to eat on trail... building up my dehydrated meals to be ready whenever i feel like getting out on trail.

I looks great! It's definitely a recipe you'd want to use earlier on in your trip though, peanuts can go rancid in storage if left for a long time. If that happened, that would be no fun to discover after a long day on the trail:(

I would make the actual soup like in a pot then dehydrate the dish not separate ingredients that way the seasonings etc get to cook into everything and it's ready made basically but dehydrated. Then if you desire you can pack extra dehydrated tomato sauce and/or seasonings to add when rehydration and cooking it. Maybe that's just me though.
