Your beds are absolutely beautiful, I got my last kiddie pool ready today, I have 4 now, 2 Pink and 2 blue, I will plant more flower seeds tomorrow in the last one, I love using them, no weeding, and with RA these are great for me, I'm thinking of getting a couple of the troughs like you have, I seen them couple years ago at tractor supply and thought ohh those would be great✌️🤱

I got a pack of Verbascum ‘Southern Charm’ seeds and now have 6-plant(lings) to put out in about 2-weeks and I cannot WAIT to see how they do because the photo looked so beautiful

I've been wanting the Southern Charm verbascum but have only been able to find the white one. Planted last year, one bloomed but this year they look great. Can't wait to see this years blooms.

Good video. Think I'm finally done pruning everything in my garden. I just finished pouring some tree drenches around my Crepe Myrtles to ward off the dreaded crepe myrtle bark scale. The product I used last year did an amazing job to get rid of the bark scale and I'm treating again this year as a safety precaution. Yup, we got lots of rain over here in Cypress last week, too. Looking forward to seeing how your back yard metal planters turn out this year. 🌻🌼

I had an endless summer hydrangea. The old growth never survived the winter but it did push new growth and blooms. But it's not a very Hardy hydrangea

Good to know! Mine hasn’t pushed any new growth yet either 😬

Hi Amanda, I am in Richardson; you are a such hard worker gardener. Love your beautiful garden. Where do you usually buy those trellis? They are expensive 😮.

I just bought 2 clematis that are potted and blooming. I see yours appear to be in full sun and both came back. I’m nervous to put mine in full sun so thanks for showing how yours have done. I’ve heard the tops like sun and the bottoms like shade. Kinda picky, aren’t they? 😁 I love your troughs and arches! After seeing the leaves on your Beautyberry, I’m afraid mine didn’t survive but I’m not giving up just yet.

Yes, they like shaded feet … you can accomplish that with mulch or some low growing annuals around the base!

Loved the video! I had a question, I'm struggling with something eating my plants! Have planted petunias, pholx, small boxwood, tomatoes and cucumbers starter plants and all eaten to the ground! So frustrating, I thought you might give me some advice please. I've tried things like Repels-All and another one just for rabbits, but it doesn't work. I'm getting discouraged.

That’s a wide range of plants to be affected by a single pest … you might have several different pests … take picture of the damage close up … go very slowly and observe your plants from top to bottom and underneath leaves to see if you can locate any pests …. Take all of that information to your locally owned (not big box) and see what they say. I’m a big fan of insecticidal soap!

Such a perfect way to tie your troughs together by planting the beautiful lantana. I love seeing how you cut back your shrubs in order to encourage fresh new growth. Now wondering if or how you treated the plant that has aphids. You are a wonderful teacher, Amanda! Linda

Could I ask what kind of sun exposure your Beautyberry gets? I'm thinking of getting one here in San Antonio.

By the leaves of your viburnum I don’t think it’s Chinese snowball I think it’s double file viburnum

I should have said Japanese Snowball Viburnum … I also have Common Viburnum Opulus which I just bought.
