Shane 2016 "Open the Sky"

The opening breaths from the penultimate Shane recording session. A somewhat traditional instrumental quartet performing free form "Jazz." After nearly a year of these frequent improv session the group is reaching a mature dynamic. The first cut evolves in a bit over eight minutes.
More than 30 years ago some cats got together and played music from the heart. Though cats aren't supposed to live that long, these cats did, and NOW they are doing this music.
