- Hi friends! I haven’t always shared many details of the work God has done in my life, but I wanted to share this one with you! This is how God wrote our our love story!
We played this video before our ceremony at our wedding, we hope it can inspire you to wait on God’s best. Whether that be a relationship, a job, or any area of your life God works out all things for good, no matter how many “mistakes” we’ve made or wrong turns, He really does have a plan!

God brought me in my promise after 8 years of waiting!! That wasn’t easy! I met my husband on the mission field. He proposed after third day , we were married in a month , not to mention the huge geographical distance and cultural differences however when God is doing it , everything is possible. It’s been 14 years now, we have 4 princesses and we live in the Uk 😊🙏🌈

Right around minute mark 11:02 when he said " you've got such a sweet heart. I love hearing the tenderness in your voice ...." I broke down... it doesn't seem like people exist like this, and if so , they'd never come right out and tell you

I am crying now. I needed this soooo bad. I cant tell you how many times I have prayed and cried out to God for a spouse and for him to show me who he is. I am 39 and still waiting. The only thing God has told me is "Brittany, he is praying for you too. Trust and wait" Its been so hard but I am still waiting.

God's timing & choice for us is never wrong. Saying this as someone who at a very young age married Gods choice for me within 3 months - 34years later it is still bliss. Well done for waiting!

A successful marriage is built on a solid foundation, Matthew 7:24-27.
Matthew 7:24-27 has nothing to do with marriage. It has to do with building your life on the rock of obedience to Jesus's teachings. If you read the preceding verses (21-23), you can see that Jesus is talking about the fruits of salvation. "Not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Jesus says that He will then tell those who have lived a disobedient lifestyle, and thus shown themselves to not be truly saved, that He never knew them and for them to depart from Him. When we do not build our lives on the rock of obedience to Jesus and His commandments, we set ourselves up for a great fall, not only in the storms of this life, but also in the storm of God's judgement after this life ends. I'm not saying that Christians are saved by their works; we are saved by faith, but faith without works is dead, and faith always shows itself in a continual growing in obedience to God (but never reaching perfection in this life). When we claim to have faith but our lifestyle is a lifestyle devoid of repentance and obedience, then we are just fooling ourselves, and we don't really have faith in Christ at all.
I feel like your idea that this passage has to do with marriage, when it is instead talking about a lifestyle of obedience to God and the fruits of salvation, shows how much marriage is idolized today. I am certainly guilty of this kind of thinking myself -- wanting God's gifts more than God Himself. But I know that it is wrong, and I want to change my mindset and way of thinking, and desire God more than anything else. I don't believe that God cares very much about people having "successful marriages." I think that there are a lot of people that God allows to be in unhappy and unsuccessful marriages so that they will learn to love Him and rely on Him more than they love and rely on anything else. The primary relationship that God cares about is our relationship to Him. I think that He is more interested in our obedience and our love towards Him and towards the people around us than in us having gifts in this life that, as good as they are, pale in comparison to having the Giver Himself.

I too have three daughters one who loss her husband suddenly in a car accident & has lost interest in relationships. My concerns are that all three of my daughter's have been raised as Christians & have lost their faith in God sending them their mate.

Oh how I wish I could turn back time and follow Jesus instead of “enjoying” (what I thought at the time) sin for a season that lead to emptiness and wasting my time/getting hurt.

Thank you so much for sharing your love story! I’ve been single all my life, and I’m currently 26. I made a promise to myself at the age of 9 that I will only enter into one relationship and that will be the person I marry. I found out at around 13 that God writes love stories and I’ve been trusting him to write my own. Hearing your story reassured me all the more that it pays to trust him. His timing is perfect, his ways are just and true. He will not forsake me. I will trust him with my story.

I have a hard time with God’s timing. I know I’m supposed to be in Cobb County. I always find a job and no place to live or a place to live and no job. My dream guy also knows he’s supposed to be in Cobb County. Him and I both have a heart ❤️ for special needs kids. Dillon and I were both part of FCA. Dillion and I originally met at a fitness event in Atlanta Saturday January 6, 2018. God told me August 10, 2019 that Dillon is my future husband. Dillon has been dating females for six months breaking up and then two years later he dates someone else for six months and then they break up. I don’t understand why Dillon is doing this. This is why I don’t understand God’s timing. I’m going to be 26 in July of this year. All my friends got married at 18 and all had kids by age 22. I’m starting to feel like I’m running out of time to have kids. Dillon and I want the same things. This is why I don’t understand God’s timing.

A lot of men don’t want to ask anyone out unless they’re sure she’s interested in him, because they don’t want to risk being hashtagged. If he’s available, ask him out on a date to Chipotle or some other cheap place.

We married after 4. We say 3 because we fasted from each other and saught God a week out of each of those months. Been married 5 years. Expecting our first in July. Crazy crazy story... we wrecked my car the first date. But it was definitely knit by God! It's so cool.

I've been single for a few years and I can say that I've prayed and done the dating apps and what not. I do question if it will happen to me but I find myself praying more and more. Listening and watching this made me cry as I could feel what you both have for each other. I wish you both nothing but happiness and years of memories together. I too know that I will experience this one day
God told me over and over that dating apps weren't the thing to do and to wait on him to bring a husband to me. Maybe he wants you off those sites too

Wow. Earlier today I took my kids to the pool at our apartment and one of the men there approached me and asked for my number. And I gave it to him knowing that he wasn’t the man for me. And when I got up to my apartment, I felt so convicted. Even though I haven’t met the man God has for me, I felt convicted like, “you know he is not your husband. Be faithful and wait on me”. I had gotten off the dating app and so content in my singleness right now. Waiting on God. I really believe it is possible to know from the very beginning.

Hi Sarah, so awhile back when I was 13 I met this boy name Ryan and he was 12, we were Friends for a long time, now I’m 17, we wouldn’t talk that much but a year ago he asked me to be his girlfriend, and ever since then I feel like everything is changing for me we help each other out and read devotions together. We are both going to a Christian private school, and we have God in the center of our relationship, And we both have boundaries set. I hope to marry him when we grow older, it’s all up to God. My daughter got married in January 2024...met her husband in church....but the beauty of their story was ...they were courting for almost a year...never touched never hugged never made out (and I was witness to this cs he only came to the house to visit,and further on they would see each other at church)....faithfully serving God nd in January shared their vows nd first kiss in front of the church❤if you God,s way He'll work everything out...

Thank you for sharing. I met my boyfriend on the last day I was going to be on a dating site. Saying goodbye and good luck to many men around the country, he saw my profile and asked me out for coffee. After seeing he was looking for a woman who serves God, I replied with a yes. Sarah , you mentioned God kept confirming that Adam was your husband. Can you share some of these confirmations.
I’ve become to grow impatient with being single and started to look for love in guys with something else. And I’ve began to fall backwards and I’ve been trying so hard to get back to where mine and gods relationship was before evil took over my mind. I know what he’s doing now when I seen this video pop up and I really think he was trying to talk to me through this saying he has someone amazing waiting for me. I just need to be with god rn and learn to be patient and trust in him.❤️
I really think God prepares us and our future spouse for the right time. But God wants our heart for Himself, before we give it to someone else. Just focus on God first, then He will do the rest. But waiting can be hard. Just get back on track for God and ask His help to be patient and wait upon Him.
This made me dream and kept me hopeful. I started a fast on July 1st and I’m waiting to see what the Lord will do because I have a strong impression on my heart that I’m closed to getting to know my future husband. I pray that it’ll be this intentional and that together we’ll accomplish more for Christ.

@@Gamefan86 I've gone down this path for years and no longer believe in it for many reasons. I used to call God the universe or Spirit and believed all spirituality and religions led to the same thing, and that the Bible was based on ancient people using psychedelics. I don't have time to write out all the reasons I no longer believe this but many people have put a lot of time into debunking this.
I've cried because of this testimony 😭😭. I will wait on God, I'll trust in Him and i will testify of His goodness

Woooow thank you for sharing your story. I am encouraged n inspired. The perfect will of God sometimes calls for "crazy" faith. In the wait, God teaches us to fall in love with him, only when we experience the fullness, satisfaction or contentment of his love are we enabled to love. God completes us and the spouse compliments. God teaches us how to walk in sync with him, so we can walk together with him to archive purpose / destiny. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.

I just want to thank you both so much and encourage you both to continue to share the Lord's heart like you are doing! I had never seen any of your videos before this one and the Lord brought this video up and spoke through you right to my heart! His goodness, friendship and kindness brought me to tears. I have not dated much and I've been praying for my godly future husband for 12 years and waiting for God to bring him across my path! I was listening to some worship music, like I do often, and I was feeling a little discouraged. Your video came up after one of my songs. When Adam shared how he was waiting and shared how he was confident that God had a godly woman for him it really touched my heart! First, knowing that there are godly men out there praying to find a godly wife, and second, God has a promise for me and I can be confident and trust that He will bring my promise when the time is right! After watching this the Lord is speaking to my heart and saying, "Jamie, be confident, speak this truth over your life and wait on Me!"
I grew up in a Christian home, I gave my heart to the Lord at a very young age and have been walking with Him all of my life but I have to say the Lord is touching my heart right now like He has never touched it before! I'm falling even more deeply in love with Him than ever before! His character and heart is priceless! Thank you both for letting the Lord speak through your hearts...it touched me and gave my friend, the Lord, the opportunity to speak to my heart and is causing our friendship and my love for Him to grow more and more every day! ❤

I walked a similar path, only I believed and waited on God 25 years for His choice of husband for me. After that very long and trying preparation time, God brought me the man of my dreams -- a soulmate husband and perfect match. We had 20 euphoric years of marriage and ministry before he tragically died (about four years ago).
I am again believing the Lord for another soulmate husband.
I came across this video maybe four weeks ago, but I never commented on it. Today, I will. Back in May of last year, my pastor gave be a prophecy about ent husband. At the time I was still doubting God in regards to marriage. I felt that it was something that He didn’t want for me because I was approaching 33 and still single. He told me that God was preparing my my husband and that he was “close”, he just couldn’t say how close. He also told me that he was someone that I would meet at church. Fast forward to last week. Another prophecy was given by someone that I’d met. He also said that God was preparing my husband, but he went deeper. Not only did he say that, he also said that I’d meet him at church. That I even knew him because I’d been wondering about him, etc. This all caught me by surprise because I’m 10 years older than this person and never imagined that he’d be someone I’d marry. Ultimately, it’s something that I’m going to pray about, but the way that this prophecy came. It came at a time where I fully surrendered this over to God. Even now my desire for marriage isn’t how it used to be (unhealthy). I feel like I can wait however long is needed for God to fulfill his promise. I never have before.

This video came up this morning in my feed and for whatever reason I clicked on it. What a divine appt. At the same time as this was playing in the background, God took me to a page of an old journal. As you were speaking about Kingdom marriages, I was reading in my journal this "Union-Unity- the bringing together of 2 in union who have a co-vision and co-assignment both in right relationship and proper positioning independently and interdependently.'" Thank-you for sharing your story so that God could use it today to remind me of the promise, purpose, and divine assignment He has for me and my kingdom spouse.
