Arc 5 needs good animation but it's pretty damn hype so it can carry itself, Arc 6 is a masterpiece in terms of storyline so I'm not worried. Berserk however never got a decent adaptation so deserves one for being the highest rated manga for many years.

Personally I really loved that mysteriousness and feel of somewhat existential dread in the first two seasons of not having any idea of what's (far) outside the walls.

@@fahrenheit2101 erased is not garbage, and even those who disliked the ending found the main plot good, plus the ending was simply rushed and left out a bit of the manga, but it still provided a decent resolution. Plus, the ending only lasted lasted 2 episodes out of the entire 12 episode series, so judging it by its length is not a good idea. Also, don’t listen to those who called the whole series shit just bc of the ending, bc they’re either trolling or they didn’t watch it properly.

I loved it. I watched other highly rated anime but they were no match to AOT. FMAB has a good story but stakes are not that high. Great story not so great an execution. Deathnote has a great plot but and okay story. Vinland saga is closest to the AOT in terms of stakes & animation.
