  • Hello and welcome back to the Without Limits podcast.
In today's episode, I'm thrilled to have a special guest, Mr. Steve Cook, joining us. Steve is a true industry OG, widely recognised as one of the greats.
He's been a constant presence in the industry for as long as I can remember, serving as a shining example of what can be achieved through authenticity and seizing opportunities.
We delve into his early experiences as a bodybuilder, including his time competing on one of the biggest stages of all, the Olympia. From there, we explore his endorsements with renowned household brands such as Optimum Nutrition and, more recently, Gymshark.
Finally, we discuss Steve's transition into entrepreneurship and the valuable lessons he has to share with fellow fitness professionals, aspirants in the fitness world, and anyone seeking a healthier lifestyle.
It's truly an honour to sit down with one of the greats-a humble and grounded individual who has achieved so much.
Without further ado, here is episode 8: "The True Cost of Becoming a Fitness Icon" with Mr. Steve Cook.

Remember an old video where Steve trained with Mike Ohern. Steve looked small next to Mike (Stevie was on rounds) and Mike says he is natural 😂

One minor correction: The CFL = Canadian Football League has been around since 1958. Various types of football were played in Canada before that date.

I see some other smart Canadian mentioned this. I suppose that many Americans despise the CFL or may be Canada in general.

Just before 25:00 - The dark side of bodybuilding - Are you referring to the LA velvet mafia? Probably this is the case, but would someone confirm it.

The CFL has been around since 1958. Steve definitely could've looked into it lol.
