what if the length and breadth are in fractions like breath is 2/5 of length and the area is given like, a square has 4 cm2 more than 2/3 of a rectangle. if the square is 64 cm2 find the dimensions of the rectangle.
Area of square = 64cm2. Two thirds the area of rectangle = 64 - 4 =60 cm2. Area of retangle = 60/2 x 3 = 90cm2. Rectangle breadth is 2/5 of length thus area = 2 x 5 = 10 square units. [ square units defined later ]. 90 cm2 divided by 10 units = 9 cm2 per unit. Squareroot of 9 = 3 so each unit is 3cm by 3cm. Breadth of 2 units = 6 cm and length of 5 units = 15 cm.
You very clever God bless you❤❤❤
What if the Area is an Algebraic Expression?
Whats the area?
