For anyone attempting this with a clone MK23 (ASG and STTI), you will likely have a couple of issues when it comes to disassembly. Firstly, pushing the safety through in order to release the slide is massively stiff and will need a good few whacks to push it through, you’ll have no hope just using your fingers. Secondly, the outer barrel isn’t held on with a screw as it is with the TM MK23 as shown at 4:01. it will likely be held in place with a pin that, again, needs to be whacked out from right to left (when looking at the assembly from the same direction you’d aim). I had to spend ten minutes constantly whacking it with a hammer and a thin-pointed file and was convinced it wasn’t going to budge but eventually it did. Once this is out, the outer barrel will be very hard to pull off, so I wrapped the hop unit and the outer barrel separately with masking tape in order to get some grip on each and pulled, pulled, pulled until they came apart. All in all it’s a horrible job!

Amazing contribution to us mk23 enthusiasts, even I with my two left hands managed to follow this guide step by step and get this done right.
I had to drill my outer barrel because I bought a 150mm inner barrel and it wouldn't fit through all the way, apart from that - everything went smoothly.
    Thank you!

You need to remove the internal barrel if you’re using that version of the suppressor. For two reasons, 1: your barrel will stick out 2: your FPS will be way too high.
3: it will be quieter without the suppressor barrel!

@@lookingcoolisnottheintenti1834 after first test the result is quite good! grouping is good on 35 m, but not as accurate with the silencer on (with the second inner barrel in it).
So is opened the silencer at the front, took the cap off and the inner barrel out.
Then I took the installed spring out out too. I stretched the spring to the length of the silencer and wrapped one layer of 1cm thick foam around the spring and put it back into the silencer hull.
Some alignment to the spring and the cap goes back into the hull.
