    I wonder why the PRO doesnt have the finger ground feature... I thought the wireless ground was one of the super duper features so no need to attach probe physically to ground, ... So why not have that feature on the PRO??

      @fridayswithbrandon  2 года назад +8

      I think there was a lot of confusion around this. And you do get greater discrepancy between users when then meter is user your body's internal impedance as it's grounding source. But if you want to do this with the pro, just pinch the metal part of the black probe and it will give you a reading as though you had a finger pad.

      You use the pro when your wearing hot gloves, that's why it doesn't have a finger ground point. Don't buy it unless you on a 100% glove jobsite

    I’ve watched this video a couple times the based on your recommendation I bought the T6 Pro. Now, I was very disappointed in the packaging spending this type of money😱😳
    Anyway, I remind myself it’s not the 378FC I purchased for dang near 3x’s the price😢. Great video, I’ll hang around for Fluke info Thanks!

    The "PRO" version is meant to be used in situations when you have hot gloves on, thats why it doesn't have a finger ground point. 90% of electricians don't need it or won't want it.....just sayin

    Получил т6 1000pro из китая, напряжение очень занижает при бесконтактном измерении, даже если провод на земле, а не в руке. Зря они отказались от сенсорной пластинки, ведь и на приборе без «pro» можно щуп заземлить

    Have you seen AVE video on the T6 1000(non pro) where he claims the finger ground button conducts 110v through it when positive test lead is touching hot leg?
    Wonder your thoughts on this. I can’t believe that fluke would make a product that would shock you like he claims..

    • @fridayswithbrandon
      @fridayswithbrandon  2 года назад +2

      I'm not familiar. But I'm confident that is not possible. Fluke would not have put a product out that would do that. It would be the same concept as saying if you touch a red lead to hot and grab the black lead you will get shocked. It's just not true.

    Id prefer to have a direct connection to ground vs touching a dicky pad on the back of the meter.

    Does field sense setting work on phase to phase voltage? Or is it only going to pick up the phase to ground voltage? For example I want to measure voltage at a pole light and need know if the light is running on 480 or 277

    • @fridayswithbrandon
      @fridayswithbrandon  Год назад

      I think only phase to ground. But if you want phase to phase you should check out the 377 or 378.

    I was wondering if that back botton accidentally touched the cabinet or panel or ground would there be any danger.
    Second would the t6 - 1000 be as accurate as the pro t6-1000 if I used the alligator clip

    • @fridayswithbrandon
      @fridayswithbrandon  2 года назад

      The T6 would be just as accurate as the pro if using the common lead or alligator clip. You will not be in danger any more than if the common lead touched the cabinet or panel.

      You can switch out the probes for the TP175, but they won't snap into the back probe holding slots. (the TP175 are a bit bigger than the original probes)
