USB-C charging is a game changer, I hope it becomes mainstream for the ebike/scooter industry. I bring my phone charger with me everywhere so this would almost eliminate range anxiety.
I think ud need a big chunky laptop type c cable a phone cable would not push out enough

I ❤this scooter! It's not cheap, but considering the whole package, it's an amazing scooter. USB-C charging makes it a no-brainer for me. 👍👌

How does one open the hatch when it has no battery inside?😂seems like an oversight
It has a backup battery inside so you can still open the lid, track the location and change scooter settings. You don't even have to be in bluetooth range to change settings, because it has mobile connectivity...

Subscription for a scooter? Why?
It’s also strange to me personally but I see it is quite popular with younger riders, students, and folks who want a scooter seasonally. A few hundred bucks to have it for a semester versus a thousand or more to buy it.

@@gabe2252 afaik the only thing I'd have to double check is the mobile connectivity feature as you might need to get that service from another company, but most other scooters don't even offer that service. In terms of self-repair, maintenance and connecting via Bluetooth, I think you're as independent as with any other device
was looking forward to this scooter from the time they announced years ago, but then it came out, and they wont sell it you have to pay a subscription which is a deal killer for me. Such a disappointment, so just stuck with the unagi that I can actually own.
Not sure which area you are at but they are selling them in Europe just fine. Only problem is they got so popular there is a bit of a waiting time for purchases at the moment.

Basically Ninebot Max but 5 years behind its time and double the price :/
Also no front night light, no bright rear light so it won`t pass safety regulations in Germany, but at least its got award for design in Germany.
Aww c’mon, a ninebot max is so far below this. If you’re saying “they both go 20 mph”, then ok. But everything else here is so far out of ninebot’s league.

@@phant0m597 Im not from Germany, but if you just cancel one of the largest market in Europe, when you sell it as a Europe made, just because you were lazy to put some lights, some reflectors and place to put licence plate - its looks like a mistake.

I just dont understand why Aike same as Niu or Okai just copied all the specs of popular Ninebot Max, produced it 3-5 years later. They just can`t outcompete Xiaomi-Ninebot-Segway giant. Why cant they just at least try something inovative like Taur or Unagi? They also look like they might fail, but at least they do something differently.
