An Amazing video buddy. Really inspirational. I agree with everything and keep bringing awesome edits. One day.....I'm going to find you......and ride with you :)
Cool to hear that. We'll ride together one day, I promise! 👍
Aleksi Rinne it would be fun 🙏
When I’m riding down the rough dirt tracks in the bush, everything else in my life disappears. It’s just me and my machine. This is why I ride.
So it is dude! I have so much stress at work. Riding in the wood is the only way I can forget everything around me.
I also do that exept I’m in school every night after school i go for a 30 min ride just to forget about stress then go home listen to music while walking through trails really calms me down
At 57yrs I have been riding since I was 15 for the same reason. It puts a smile on my soul.
Why do we ride? Because its the most fun you can have with pants on.
Very good Aleksi, I’m 62 and in love with enduro 💪🔥🏍👍
You look like Pablo Escobar
mate Im only 55, respect !!! I love it.
56 and on my way!
this is why i ride
when i ride everything stops😍 its just me and my bike
everything goes away
its a freedom
its my teraphy
Holy shit Aleksi. This video is next level shit. Just like good old top gear history episodes 🤯
Mucho gracias hombre! 😂👍
yes aleksi these were the true beginnings my grandfather rode in the 1931 six days and i hope thats where i got it from
That's cool to hear! :)
I ride because of all of the reasons u said. I love the dirt and the freedom you have at high speeds
1. Because you can afford it
2. Because you like it
3. Why not ;)
I can do #2 & #3 but #1 is a question.
Started riding this year, I'm 13. I wonder if I'll be like this guy in the future 😂
I like to stick to roads with my supermoto, but I really enjoyed this video, keep going!
Great video, Alex! I love the way you edit your videos!. We both share the passion for offroad & enduro riding, that's for sure. I can't wait to start riding with my son when he became a little bit older ;-) and to get him involved in the amazing feelings, places and experiences we live on top of our bikes. If you ever come to Barcelona and you want to ride, drop me a line, mate!
First video I’ve seen with no dislikes! Enduro is life! Keep it up
I was too late to see my firat video without dislikes :(
Why would anyone dislike this? 😟😟
I had lower back pain for like 5 years strait until i got on a dirtbike again at age 37. No pills, no chiropractor, no braces or special diet... Just dirtbike everyday. Dirtbikes brought my quality of life back to good. I will ride until i die.
🎅
I’m thirteen and love mini enduro trails like lost trails in Pa. (I have some stuff on my channel)
Amazing video. And all so true! Enduro and big smiles for life
Awesome! Come to Colorado, USA and experience the awesomeness.... and you’ve got a home with me for your stay!
Well said. I've been riding since age 5, I've been riding 39 years now, I'm 44. When I'm not riding I see lines and trails I'd love to try on my yz250. This is something that happens every ride in the truck since I was a child. I once explain this to my daughter and I think it change her perspective on riding in a car and what she sees along the road. It's cute when I catch her thinking to herself brapppppp brap brap . Then we both burst out in laughter because we know what game were playing in our heads. I wonder how many of you dirtbike riders imagine riding the trails or lines you would love to try , while your stuck in a car. Hit thumbs up if you do this too.
I'm 40.. I do this to.. Since I was 5 or 6 I waved my hand in the car like I was jumping a bike in the woods..🤣🤘😜
@@koengixxer that's awesome, trust me, we ain't wierd lol
I keep sending this video to people hoping they’ll “get it” (why we ride).. great video. Thanks.
I don't have a enduro bike but im very interested to this sport an my dream bike is a 300 cc husqvarna
But in the moment i ride a bit enduro with my simson s51 (60cc) moped and I do wheelies all the time.
I really like and enjoy it
This put a smile and my face and made me realise just how much fun I have riding my dirt bike
I just got my first dirtbike & it’s alot more fun exploring trails vs just riding a cruiser or the streets
Me too. It's the best
I'm 52 yrs old and just bought Klotz 2 stroke oil for my KDX 200 labor day ride . thanks for the excellent channel.and keeping me motivated !
One of your best video! Bravo Aleksi and thank you!
Awesome to hear that! :)
You took your words right out of my hart! I am 50 years now and still have the same spirit as you have IMHO. Thanks for your good Videos, I wish that whe could ride some tracks somewhere together.
Cheers :-)
Hej Aleksi! Just want to let you know I get inspiration from your videos, part because you are finish but mostly because of your smooth riding style, keep it up! Cheers from Sweden!

Love the video bro! Hit me up whenever you’re in germany and keen for a ride!
who cares why we ride...just ride dude.
I do. 😄
I bought my first bike 1 year and a bit ago at 14 and a half years old , a TTR125L that i still have till present , and i love it , i love riding it , i ride because its fun and it makes me really happy , it makes me feel free , i forget about all the stress from school and every other bad thing from my life , for that 2-3 or 4 hours that i leave my garden and go ride with a friend or two , i feel amazing , i love riding and even if i'll have a job and a family wich would both require much time , i promise myself that at least a day/week i will always ride
Hyvä Aleksi! Great video Aleksi! Enduro is everythink hope i can get back to this sport sometime soon. Family first, second enduro
Kiitos! 👌 😎
Correction. Scottish Six Days Trial have been run since 1909, not 1913 as Aleksi said.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Six_Days_Trial
In general Trial riding is the oldest type of off-road motorcycle riding.
Thank you! You just perfectly explained exactly why, at age 51, I still challenge myself out in the forest every chance I get and try to improve my skills.
Love it 💙
Great video. I love off road riding, I day-dream about all week. Why I ride: Riding hits a lot of buttons for me. It's fun. I ride with friends and we have great times with each other. We help each other when we need it. Its an adventure. We ride to amazing places. The scenery. The challenge of difficult terrain. Operating a machine that delights and scares you. The perfect line. Riding off-road on difficult trails becomes an obsession, it is also like solving a puzzle. And finally, one of the biggest things --- FOCUS --- you must focus on what you are doing, if you dont you will wreck and hurt your-self. When you focus on the ride all your problems go away. It's just you the bike, and the trail. Your brain is wiped clean of all the worry, doubt and negative emotions and you are left with satisfaction, joy, memories, and comradeship that sustains you. Thanks Aleksi.
4:32 is pure gold. Off-roading has been under assault for years now, to the point of almost not existing in my area. I’m on a mission to bring it back to the next generation so they have something exciting to do besides drugs.
I'm 41 and have been riding since I was 9. Starting on a 1977 Honda xl250 and today I ride my faithful Africa twin750. I rode some street bikes in between but my heart belongs in the dirt. 😎👌🏻
Ride to feel ALIVE. theres nothing more rewarding than the challenge. to clutch, shift, throttle, breathe (dont forget!), brake, assess terrain, hold onto/control the bike, chose lines. A total mind/body workout. To be humbled on your FACE, and then ride through the trail with ease through the same spot that you previously wiped out in. A total rush! truly LIVING life to the fullest
Hi Aleksi. Your videos are really good and i would like to know why did you stop doing new stuff?
From the Quebec, Canada.
Jean
Hello Aleksi. Old guy here. I started riding off road in 1975. A new but badly beaten to death 1975 kawasaki ke 175. A free bike - hell yeah!!!
Road legal but being 11 no way - did not stop me for short runs. Rotary valve, limited power at low revs. But above 5k oh boy! for me anyhow.
Not much shock travel, heavy not very good handling. Scary bad brakes even with new pads and sanded clean drums. I learned so much on that bike. I learned a lot of what not to do the hard way. Smash a tree hard enough to take all the air out of your lungs. Lie there a little scared, get up
check the bike see what i broke. Bent bars and bent peg. Keep going a little slower but going. Went out with the older kids with much better bikes.
Two of them roosted me hard and put a rock the size of my fist into my helmet. Took me right off the bike and cracked 3 ribs - no protection.
Long painful ride home. moaning in the truck the whole time. After that i was forbidden to ride anymore, lasted 4 weeks. Mid 90's got a big
KX 500. Scared the crap out of me !@!! huge power all over the place. I still have it. I could do a lot of what i see you do - just slower and at times a LOT slower. Got a honda elsinore 250 super cheap, not as scary and a good bit lighter. An 80's bike it was fun before i bent the frame - don't ask.
It was stupid. Street bikes 4 strokes 2 strokes large and small i love them all. Even scooters and mopeds if it has an engine i will ride it.
Now well into my 50's - will you still ride at my age ? I bet you will. All the crashes in my youth my body has decided to pay me back with spine
problems bad knees and junk hips. Ankles that hurt like hell going up stairs. Most likely looking at disability now, can not work a full day.
You seem a lot smarter at your age than i was then. Safety equipment always! Do not hurt yourself enough to have it re visit you in middle age.
I was fairly tough so thought at the time. Want try something a little crazy? run it slowly a few times first. not head first throttle on. Like i did.
Took 30 years to finally learn that. Do not do things the way i did, and then pay for it later in life. For me it is a high price. Not for you hopefully.
Sure i had huge fun endless amounts of fun. The guy who can stand up and walk without pain at 60 really is the winner after 40 plus years
of riding. That clearly is not me at this point. I still ride the woods nothing better than smelling the pines and doing a tough single track and
nailing it 1 st run. Nothing better. Ear to ear grin !! I ride alone a lot, but insanity has been replaced by fear healthy fear. Why is it i crash worse
or more painfully on my mountain bike than dirt bike ? Be smart ride sane preserve your long term health, and take care.
Yes i subbed. Two strokes always
Great video, but the future of enduro is poor. Electric bikes will go along way to elevating environmental concerns, but money and elitism will see it eventually die.
riding is the most important reason why people do it and the best thing that anyone can enjoy. the freedom, the brotherhood/sisterhood, getting in touch with nature and enjoying the views are also just some other great reasons to ride as well.
All of those reasons :) just got back from d2d was pit bitch for two man 24hr bib43 waiting for results was hopeing for a podium but mates bike blew rings we think and lost a couple laps getting back :).Great vid as always
Just watched this video again, one of my all time favorites. Miss your regular videos, and hope that you are OK, and still riding.
This is the cold hard truth. Honestly was getting misty because this is what we need to focus on, not petty brand wars, not gas vs electric, non of that will be remembered. Continue sharing the freedom dirt bikes, particularly Enduro riding brings! Thank you Alex for this dose of reality.
With temperatures at -44 deg c here at home, I’m really needing to ride. I hope to try my first enduro events this coming year. Being 40 years young it should be interesting!! Really enjoyed your edit!
Awesome! Keep doing stuff like this, people need to see more of this to change their minds about the motorcycles! Hope one day we can ride together!
Aleksi, this is a fantastic video, I love the constant references to the historical past, it is very rare that a guy of your age group appreciates the importance of the origins of off road riding. You have made a really inspirational video here, many congratulations! It is extremely well produced and I know that your work will go from strength to strength.
Thanks of the great video, it rings true for most I would assume and I hope it inspires others to start to ride and/or to pass on the riding bug to future generations. I ride to break free of the stressors and mundane day to day activities of modern society and life. I ride because I can and I am grateful to do so because there are so many others that can't. Riding is my form of physical, mental, and emotional therapy and I can't imagine life without it.
I totally agree with you there I started riding around 12/13 an haven't stopped since yeah there's months we're I don't get to ride but doesn't matter if I'm in the angriest mood or what being on my bike is like heaven everything on my mind disappears and I feel free feeling the wind rushing past me an the adrenaline running through my veins it's a feeling I will never forget till I die
We are riding because we love the fredom of doing wat we want.
A funny thing motorcycles, some ride once and dont like it, some try once and they can not live whidout it for the rest of their lives...
awesome video
Fucking SICK video.
I love this
👍😊
Шикарное видео, отличный посыл .
First comment! Hahaha 😂
Mucho Gracias! :D
Awesome ! :)
Amazing inspirational video. Good job Aleksi 🙂
Thank you, Fools! 😜❤️
I'm from year 3189
😂 😂
Great channel!
Thank you.
👍
Nice video bro ... really inspired by just watching it ... definitely gonna share
Awesome!! 👍👍
Love watching your vids mate can relate massively to what you say
51 and can't wait to get out on the bike as much as I can.
Love it! Good luck 👍🏻
What bike you are riding now?
3:59 That shit sounded expensive :/
Awesome mate. Well done.
I hope this gets 10 million views
I wish i had a bike ._. had to sell the last one😭
It's fun and It's possible to die
… because we CAN !!!
The dislikes are gay quad riders
To get from one place to another?
i don't know
but
i ride the bike
Love this video, nice work
Deep, young man. Very deep.
Its got so bad in the UK that my KDX is in the garage, though I have to say my ebike has taken its place and Im rediscovering old trails at a slower speed, different lines, more obstacles and a ton a specially built trails.
Sort of getting more cardio fit as well.
I still miss the power on the big hills though. :(
Reading a script at 2:34??
i wish to ride mine but mine is stuck in full throttle my poor yz 125 98 :(
Check the throttle slide in the top of the carb. It's probably rough and needs to be replaced or smoothed out.
Fantastic!
Great job. Keep the vids coming. I can't ride for the next year cause I'm on a deployment with the army, but I can still enjoy vids till I get home to my bike lol.
I've gone through time in deployment as well! Hopefully my films will help you kill that spare time. 😉
@@EnduroWithAlex They sure will my friend. So keep them coming, and maybe we will run into each other at a enduro event sometime lol.
So you want to challenge yourself or do you want to be successful in racing?
Both. 😉
Great vid aleksi. I also love enduro in scotland 🏴.
Beautiful video, beautiful words, for a beautiful sport!! Thank you Aleksi!
spot on!
Really inspirational :) I just started to ride two years ago, but see improvements already, just as I see that there is always a new challenge. And that is why I have fallen in love with the sport.
Becouse very joyfull
Fantastic video man!!!! I’m 61 and still race MX
Hi, Aleksi! Thanks for the video! Very motivation and curious in the same time! 😉👍🏼
"Home run" again!!! Got "late" to comment, as the word 'Inspirational' is used often throughout the comments below. In one word yes!...Inspirational! and a trend that you have been getting us used too, which is, the honest approach. Quick question: do you do the video editing by yourself? Cheers Carlos (56) :-)
No worries Carlos! I always find your comments here, late or not! Always so nice to read your thoughts! For this one I did all the editing myself. :)
@@EnduroWithAlex Congrats! I have some experience related with video production (not editing) and there is in fact a professional look on this project. Well done!
Okay! That's cool to hear! I've been doing video production as my only job for two years now. I never went to any film schools so it's 100% because of these enduro videos I've made. So thank you for watching and commenting! You guys pushed me to turn my hobby to profession.
