Wow. My rc couldn't hang.
Wow, that guy knows how to use the landing ramp @6:36
Went for style points on that one.... or just extremely lucky haha
Could a modded Traxxas slash compete with these or is there a specific type of car they use
A modded Traxxas Slash would have a very difficult time competing to be honest. A super talented racer could wheel one and do well but the difference in quality, performance and the ability to adjust the truck's set-up between a Traxxas and race brands (XRAY, Team Associated, TLR, etc.) would be more than most racers could overcome and a Traxxas would not allow them to be competitive. If you are interested, you can pick up cheap race quality truck and electronic on RC Tech.
Why did the orange one start further up the track?
He was the TQ (Top Qualifier). If I recall correctly they moved the top qualifier around the corner to prevent them from being taken out in the first turn. Initially, the TQ started right before the turn but didn't have any speed or momentum to make it around the corner and they were getting blasted at the start of every race. After a few restarts, I think the race director decided to move the TQ to the other side (if my memory serves me correct).
@@A2Racing thanks a lot. Was just curious 😀
What is the typical motor and esc in a race 1/10 2wd SCT? At this track do they have spec classes for SCT or is it all open?
At some races they offer a spec SCT class (17.5t) however at Palmetto Classic and most races it is a Modified class. I run a 8.5t motor in my truck, I would say it is a safe bet. As for ESCs it comes down to personal preference, I am sponsored by Maclan so I run their MMax Pro (Now called M32t Pro). However, any 1/10th ESC and modified motor will get you around the track.
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account..?

Thank you so much you really help me out :D
Where us this track? Facebook page?
It is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. If you search Beach RC on Facebook you should find it. It is one of the nicest indoor tracks on the east coast and the owner puts on some amazing events.
