I am a nurse seen my own patients die, thought i became numb to dead bodies until may 11th 2021 i lost my newborn babygirl i lost it , cried non stop for 3days in fact still sob sometimes. I had to keep telling myself i am a nurse and i need to pull myself together but man it hit me so hard.💔

I wish you were around when I finished nursing school. You are very reassuring about giving yourself time to learn the skills. I was way too hard on myself
I was the same way Karen which is a huge reason I started this channel! I try to share my mistakes and the knowledge I've gained with others so they don't have to make the same mistakes I have made and really just to make yalls life easier!:)
I'm graduating in December with my fiance and together we will have about 105k in debt. Our plan is to live well below our means until every dollar is paid off AND we want to buy our future cars in cash because you save thousands of dollars if you wait until you have the full amount. Thank you so much for touching on finances, it was encouraging and so many need to hear this

You were speaking facts! Especially with the finances bit. I’ve seen my own nursing friends blow through their money the first couple of months. Money management is important. All your other points were spot on as well 👌🏾 great video

I agree with your financial advice!!! Prior to starting my accelerated program I made sure to payoff my loans for my 1st bachelors and credit debt that I had. In 2 1/2 years I finished and saved enough to pay off most of my accelerated 2nd degree program! What worked for me was making an initial list of my debt and using the avalanche method. I also made a budget for my essentials. When I first started I would use my first check to pay for my living essentials and the second check during the month would go to loans and savings. Eventually I got comfortable enough to put more of my first check towards savings. I did have a credit card but I made it a rule not to spend what I didn't have. I would pay it right away and I would still get points that I would use to travel. I still follow this.

My advice would be if it’s available in your area, go to a community college to get a LPN or RN degree. It’s a whole lot cheaper and worth it. Top colleges or universities are just a cash grab!!

My wife and I have been following Dave Ramsey for seven years. What has happened is we have a no debt including the mortgage. We are even bank rolling my ADN. So much relief
