I think I know what you mean, but perpendicular isn't the right term. The rear wheel is a tiny bit offset from the front if you were to draw a straight line from the center of the front wheel back. If it we're a sport bike perhaps it would have an effect but many people have done the same modification and have not felt any negative side effects
Going up to a 150/90-r15 adds about an inch of width to the tire and an extra half inch of sidewall. I had to trim one small metal cable routing piece on the inside of the swingarm, but otherwise it fits fine
which damper did you install? looks really good... plug&play install? greets from Germany
I was thinking the whole time, "this is going way too smoothly"
So both tires,, ftont and rear are not aligned perpendicularly ?

Will you do the powder coating?
no no no, my wife would kill me for using our oven. My powder coating guy goes by "Butcher" and does a fantastic job.
What year and model was the wheel from?
An '85 virago 700 wheel and axle. They are shared with many other viragos of that generation though.
What is a jixer
"GSX-R", commonly pronounced as simply "Gixxer" is a Suzuki sport bike which was the donor for my whole front end
🐐
What size tire do you plan to use?
Either a 150 or 160/90. We'll see what fits!
Ya I’d like to see if the 160 will fit.
@@joef6858 ohhh man! I have a 150 on it now, but I'm a sucker for pain so maybe the 160 will make an attempt
@@two-cargarageso what did fit? One xv920 said that it had 200/70r15 tire, sounds little too wide for me.. 😮
Rear-Diff? So you have an all-wheel-drive motorcycle with a front and rear-Diff?
I am impressed, isually motorcycles have no diffs at all....
Haha you can tell that I work on all types of vehicles. Stay tuned for the next episode when I install a LSD in it 😉
But you're not really getting a fatter tire in there are you? The size of the tire is still limited by the swingarm

@@two-cargarage oh wow okay. I my tire is already rubbing the swing arm, didn't think dropping to 15 would give me any more space
