It's pretty well known consoles are sold at a loss purposely because companies like Microsoft and Sony know they'll make more money selling you online access, storage, game pass/games, and peripherals like controllers, headsets, etc. The PC vs Console argument is kinda played out for that reason; it's no more complex than that. That said, the PS5 Pro is a horrible deal overall in comparison to the utility a PC has, and is sold on inflated claims that it can't even keep up. A used PC would match or out perform a PS Pro, and again; have WAYYYY more utility that doesn't lock you only into gaming and could be upgraded later unlike a console. But to each their own; if you don't like to tinker a console is perfect. Edit: spelling
I think ppl are just too scared to try something new that they just latch on to what’s comfortable. I first started PC gaming march this year after console gaming my whole life and honestly my PS5 and Xbox have been collecting dust all year since 😭 I was bored with gaming for a while but after I took that jump to PC I’ve gotten back into it again heavy. At $750(after tax) and also Years of having to pay ps plus to even use the console there’s no reason to just not get a PC at that point. After Years of ps plus payments they’re literally paying over $1000+ on console atp 😭 so that price argument should never be mentioned again lol
@@bigjon8744 right 😭 I switch to pc and never look back. I gave my girl all rights to my Xbox series X console so she can play sims if she wants plus I can access my Xbox game pass on pc so it’s literally no reason to play my Xbox console.
