John Deere 8000R pulling a Rockland Rotoveyer

I caught this video back in April of a farmer preparing some new ground for crop production. They are using an 8000R series John Deere to pull a Rockland Manufacturing Rotoveyer. The Rotoveyer is used to remove stick, roots, rocks and other debris from freshly cleared ground going into row crop production.

We hired a guy to do that back in the 90's with one of these , worked great, we are in Nova Scotia , Canada.

That's very interesting. I can remember walking the edges of fields picking up roots that got plowed up to help cut down on the encroachment of trees from a wood lot or a fence row.
