Excellent video, very informative, glad I watched as I thought wax paper was the same as all the others. I bought some heat transfer paper to print a design on my inkjet printer and use on a t-shirt - which of the papers would you recommend using? Thanks 😊
I'm using heat transfer paper for a project of mine, but I waxted to put a wax layer so that it can be washed without needing to be turned inside out and washed on cold as well as being flat dried. Is there anything I can get to apply a protective layer to my prints to stop them from ruining??
I don't think there's anything to apply that would work in the way you're imagining. Wax paper would just be a big waxy mess all over your project. If you're using a high-quality HTV and washing on warm (not hot), you should be able to get a lot of washes out of it, even when drying.
This was a HUGE help. Thank you!!
You're welcome!!
Thanks, Cori! As usual, there is lots of great information.

Butcher paper :)

I typically use parchment or a teflon sheet with HTV.

Every time i use butcher paper , it browns and stains my project. ( sublimation less than 400 ° ). Unless i got a bad roll of it. It was given to me.
I would try a new roll! It will yellow, but it shouldn't transfer that to your project.
Thanks Cori. I appreciate the suggestions you share and I have sent you and Angie an email. Rosanne
Thanks, Rosanne. We appreciate you!
