What's the string instrument playing the chords in the first song? Is that just a regular old guitar or an oud or what? I'm not familiar with this type of music.
While the group does have a zither, I suspect that instrument in question is a surf-tuned guitar. The group can be seen with their instruments here: i.ytimg.com/vi/-LR0Yvdc9LA/hqdefault.jpg Thank you for listening!

I have a solution to the Palestinians. If all of your friends in this entity convert to Judaism, you will become citizens of Israel. All in all, most of you were Jews who forced to convert to Islam...
None of this music is political at all (a lot of it is actually religiously inspired) and much of it isn’t even from Israel, it was made by Mizrachi Jews (ethnic Jews from Middle eastern/North African countries) in those respective countries. If everything having to do with Jewish culture makes you uncomfortable, it just shows that you (and others not just you to be fair) aren’t able to separate culture/food/music and INDIVIDUAL people from the conflict. As a Jew, if I walk down the street and look at any Arab-Israeli/Palestinian through the lens of the conflict as “THOSE people”, I’d never be able to respect them and see them as individual people. Don’t politicize your relationship with Jews as individuals and a culture as Jews should not politicize their relationship with Palestinians as individuals and a culture. That’s why this conflict still exists.

It is disturbing but Israel is a wonderful country, and It would silly to say it's not real.
