Funny, Christmas Who was actually the first time I saw Spongebob getting ready to do karate with Sandy. I actually hadn't seen some karate-based episodes for a while (I knew Sandy knew karate, but I hadn't seen No Weenies Allowed or Karate Choppers) As a matter of fact, because I hadn't seen them, I actually thought that Robo-Spongebob's karate gear in Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom (PS2) was actually just a combination of Spongebob's karate gloves from Christmas Who and the "dummy helmet" from I'm With Stupid.
Goons on the Moon was just straight up NOT a Christmas special. Plain and simple.

I think Christmas Who, and It’s a Spongebob Christmas!, are tied
Here's something distinct I remember about the donkey flashing over Squidward in Christmas Who. Nowadays, you see the donkey flashing onscreen when Squidward is mocking the song, but when I first saw it, the donkey only appeared when Squid feels like a *haaaw-hee-haaaaawww* big jerk (and that's still kept, they just added another version of that joke mentioned above). I feel repeating the joke like that sort of wrecks the intended joke they first had. We already know he's making an ass of himself, him saying that after he gets the present is enough.
I have hour long debates with myself on whether I prefer Christmas Who? And Its a Spongebob Christmas lol

Don’t know, but Spongebob is going to help protect it from a crazy weather man, also there’s an episode where Gary grows legs, Patrick becomes unrecognizable after being covered in trash, and Patrick adding spongebob to his society of doofuses.

Man I could barley put Spirits down and I did enjoy the unlocking process.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I wish Patchy had at least one appearance in every season. I find him and Potty to be very underrated characters. Regardless of what fans think of certain appearances or the characters as a whole, they really don't appear very often. I really enjoyed Season 11 overall, but I was disappointed that they never showed up.

MLP aired a new, non-Holiday episode on the fourth of July once.
In regards to Smash I also dropped Toon Link sadly mainly because I found other characters with potential while sticking with the characters I've mained since 64/Melee. And prior to Ultimate my favorite Smash game was actually Project M. I prefer Project M over Smash 4. And I like Smash 4 and Melee equally. But yeah single player wasn't fun after Brawl they feel more like Nintendo's excuse for an experiment than a fun experience. (That's mostly what the Wii U era of games were, with a few exceptions part of why the library of games were so lacking is they felt like one giant experiment just to have a gimmick rather than something that enhances the core experience.) I think Brawl had the best collectibles, while Melee had the best single player. I really missed the Coin Launcher from Brawl it was one of my most played modes, so underrated. In fact I dare say I enjoyed collecting trophies and event matches as much as I loved the multiplayer/fighting experience.
This season also has Patnochieoe
I found both Christmas Who and Its a Spongebob Christmas episodes to be great (I think I would pick Christmas Who) Goons on the Moon wasn't bad(I think meh is appropriate) for me but I think it would have been better received if Nick didn't promote it as a Christmas special.

The patchy segments are actually stylized to be low budget, it was actually in the commentary of this episode or maybe house party, not sure which one
I’m glad seeing Chuggaconroy in anything but I am sad it seems he’s the only guest that can draw in major views for the podcast this series deserves way more views

""Name and address... Withheld!"" Another great podcast guys. I don't celebrate Christmas, but I hope you're enjoying the holidays. On the topic of least-liked tropes and Christmas specials, my opinion is similar to PieGuy's and Chugga's. While I don't watch a lot of holiday specials, whenever I do, I tend to not like the ones that just follow the same type of plot points seen in other specials, without giving their own unique take on the tropes. And much like Chugga, I don't like it when some of these specials get overly preachy. I guess I would like to see more specials tackle holiday traditions from different perspectives, like a segment where one family has a Christmas tradition, another segment with a family that has a Hanukkah tradition, or a family with a Kwanzaa tradition, and so on, and have each of the segments lead into each other, and come together at the end. Also, and this is probably just me, but I don't really see a lot of holiday specials based around It's a Wonderful Life. The only ones I know of are from Tiny Toon Adventures and iCarly, and that's it. So I guess I would like to see more specials tackle that. It would be something different then just A Christmas Carol. Keep the podcasts coming, and enjoy the rest of the holidays. Also thanks for bringing up the factoid about Potty The Parrot.

Pieguy, I love you, I love this series, but I honestly cringe a lot of the time whenever you talk about video games. It’s not often, and it’s your podcast, you can do what you want. I just personally don’t think that’s your strong suit of things to talk about...sorry.
26:43 never played a persona game, went to bed before the DLC announcement and kinda had it spoiled because of that, but DAMN IT i'm hyped for Joker. Even if it's just because we're gonna get Persona Music in Smash.
EDIT: oh and i can give my thoughts on Pokemon: The Power Of Us i guess. spoilers too.
Personally, it's probably in like my current top 3 pokemon movies. it balanced a large cast pretty well, better then pretty every other pokemon movie really. i'm glad it was more focused on a disaster and it drove away from the formula. (and it did it pretty well too) it had some actually kinda sad moments (like the whole snubble thing, old lady best character) but at the end of the day pokemon movies aren't really THAT good and well....the Pokemon Power was REALLY BAD. Shoehorned in like crazy, ruined actually good moments. i can handle a power-of-friendship plot but this ain't it chief. Probably like a 6.4/10.
