I have my CXS for ten years and this is my favourite drill ever! And the baterries are still working after ten years! One of the best Festool products.
Sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Huxley Jaxtyn I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
For bits with the traditional shorter spindle shown at 9:20, what are you supposed to use? Stick them straight into the FastFix? Use the provided keyless chuck? Or use some other special chuck?
Will there be an updated CXS drill? A lot of competitors with similar size drill like Milwaukee are coming out with compact 12V drill that have more torque than the CXS. Ps. I love my festoon products!
@@drs-Rigo-Reus The update to the battery design happened years ago, and the T/CXS itself is unchanged. It is long overdue an update to a more powerful brushless motor, as all of their competitors have been using for a few years now.
What id the difference between the C18 and the CXS. I just ordered the C18 And am wondering if I made a mistake not getting the CXS. I have several Dewalt 20 volts. I bought the C18 to strictly use in my wood working shop making cabinets and small wood projects. Is the C18 a older version of Festool drills
I have become interested in Festool, but sadly I don't believe I'll be able to afford what I'm wanting and needing any time soon. Yes, you get what you pay for and I also understand you pay a premium for quality tools.

Festool Live is my favorite appointment of the week. Thanks for putting all of the effort into making this really informative & fun.

@Huxley Jaxtyn it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
@Luis Edward glad I could help :D
I wish these were finally available as a solo version so I could buy a TXS to accompany my CXS
Great job again. Your enthusiasm makes our work more fun. Thank you!

@Ferd Dorst Easy there. It’s a good question and I’m sure you understood the gist of what he is asking. No need to be an asshole.
I believe they now have the mkii version. To be identified by the new flat battery

CXS for life
Keen to buy the CXS but it’s not currently in-stock here in Canada (LeeValley). It seems that most of the dealers don’t have any in stock.
I was wondering the same thing. On the east coast of Canada myself
as always a great , informative video guys.
Great review

They're quite different. The CXS is basically half the weight and less powerful, but also more ergonomic. I'm not 100% sold on the C18
Festool need impact in 12v line and i think after that they will be top line
Festool need to release a battery planer.
will these batteries work with the sys lite or sys radio?
Hii do you have a sales in UAE

My CSX REMAINS MY FAVORITE power tool…period. Bought it when they came out. Subsequently bought my wife a TXS. IT TOO IS TERRIFIC.
