    Beautiful soup bones! You can use the meat to add for your dog food. I cook it with liver for our dog. He LOVES it!

    I use those for my homemade vegetable soup, but I rarely see them with so much meat. You should try them for soup this Fall!

    I use my nesco roaster to roast and then make the broth on the lower setting or the slow cooker setting if it has one you can make a larger batch in the same amount of time

      Oh yes, when I have very large batches I use toaster too. Thank you for watching!

    Wow that canner holds alot!! Can you tell me where you got it? I've only done the water bath, didn't know they had electric canners! Those older pots for the stove scare me 😬🤣

    Why do you take your rings off the jars?

    • @thrilledthrifterhome
      @thrilledthrifterhome  Год назад +2

      Because it can give a false seal. Example: if a seal is lost and the ring is on the lid it will look as if it’s sealed. If the seal is lost and ring is off the lid will shift around and you will notice. That way you can throw that food out and not get sick.
