@tapiocababey yes amazing and trying to pick up a baby after the first 24 hours is a chore. They are vulnerable for 1 day after birth and then are racing around the card like little toy cars, and soooo hard to catch
So glad the family missed them so much they actually adopted all + a friend for the little boy. They picked out such a gorgeous boy for the baby. Makes my heart warm.
One of my piggies was about 2 months old when I got her, unwanted at pet store due to red eyes and white fur (she's not an albino though, she's got grey ears). Turned out she was freshly pregnant and after 7 weeks, at about 4 months of age, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, tri-color lovely rascal. She had to give birth when I wasn't home in the afternoon, somewhere between 2PM and 8PM. I never wanted to force mating upon any creature, but still am very happy to witness the miracle of motherhood. Her instincts worked perfectly despite the young age, and (after neutering little one) she lives happily with her big strong son ever since.
That's an albino. I think you need to do some research. In fact, siamese/himalayan is a form of albinism. Please stop repeating PETA and animal rights fanatics bull crap. No one FORCES animals to breed. You have OBVIOUSLY never had a dog dig under a fence, break a window to get in your house chew through a door and then break open a crate to get to a female in heat. You have also never realized females will do the same when they are in heat to get to males.. You do realize the people who started the forced to breed lie are the same people who want to end ALL human and animal interaction. Ingrid Newkirk has said so herself.
@@labella9291 If I put a female piggie into a cage with male one, it's me who force starts the interaction. It'll go naturally from that point, but it's me who starts it, not the sow, nor the boar. It's my decision to either breed the fuzzies, or not. We're not talking about runaway cats or dogs, or any animal in the wild. A guinea pig is not an enormously-sized unstoppable bull: I can force the breeding by putting the creatures into one cage, or make it not happen, by not creating a chance for them to meet. I choose to not force this process upon a creature who will not find a mate on her own otherwise. This train of thought has nothing to do with ecoterrorists, so please do not involve them into the discussion. Albino vs. non-albino - I'm not into genetics that much, she could be albino, leucistic or out-of-space. Prefer to think about her a non-albino, but it doesn't matter if she's one anyway.
That’s was beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing. And very happy that their owners came back to get them. I don’t know what I would do without my clan.
The babies were tiny sawdust sharks at birth, haha 😄 it’s also amazing that the owners couldn’t live without their piggy, so she and the pups got a home fast ❤️❤️
These babies are adorable! ❤️ It’s amazing that they’re up and running so soon. What a happy ending, too. This was great. Thanks for the captions, really interesting.
One of my original piggies got pregnant after I adopted a cagemate, who was mis-sexed. I didn’t discover the mix up until it was too late, and my 16 month old piggy was pregnant with 4 pups. It was such a beautiful experience. I missed the first pup coming out, but I got to sort of see the rest of them. She would turn her body so the pups were somewhat hidden from my view as she birthed them.
Guinea Pigs Are People, Too and Bird me and my sister have guinea pigs and the store we bought them from said they were both girls. Well vinca my sisters guinea Was growing fast in the back area. She gave birth to the babies we checked valor my guinea pigs my mom was like he is a boy, so we separated them and we are building him his new house tonight also we did check him several times and my mom said he was a girl. So later that week he had a vet apt so he could get neutered. I had to go to school so she told me after school that there was 2 options and they were both dangerous so I decided no to get him neutered. And the baby pigs genders are 1 boy and 2 girls
Abby Snow Aw, well I guess that means you can make two C&C cages for them! It’s a good and inexpensive way to build roomy cages. You will have the experience of raising both males and females (I’ve only kept females). Make sure you watch Scotty’s Animals, too. He has all males, and he shows a lot of good bonding videos.
Make sure to remember that the son will try to impregnate his mom and sisters at about 2-3 weeks old. Put him with his dad when he’s that age so that this doesn’t happen.
Im amazed. Ive seen kittens, puppies, rabbits, mice, and rats being born. They are utterly helpless, but these little piggies are bright eyed and bushy tailed, so alert and aware of there surroundings. I think i might be falling in love with piggies
My very first guinea pig-Marmalade-was a baby herself who turned out to be pregnant from the store. I fell head over heels in love with her little babies when they were born!!! This video brings back that wonder and awe. Thanks!
I had a rescue have a baby 3 weeks after I got her I had no idea she was even pregnant. The interesting things is when I cleaned their cage after the baby was born I found little bits of tissue like after birth under her fleece and puppy pads. Both girls live happily together and are very close
But I supposed you could same the same about a human.... when we give birth for the first time .. your body just kicks in and does what it’s supposed to!
@@amandabutler8881 I mean, yeah, the body does. The mind, not that much. There are cases of mothers who didn't know they were pregnant and they were scared to death when they started giving out of sudden. i’ve had 3 guinea pigs. my 2nd (is my most favorite, not to be mean but we just have a connection)... her name is Dolly. she looks just like the black and white baby. literally identical, including the small brown spot on her head. very unique 😊i had to check twice to make sure it wasn’t filmed before i got her 🤣 she was very sick when i adopted her, very small and skinny and now she’s lazy, chunky, spoiled, you name it. she has her own special personality and i can say she’s probably the coolest pig ever. you got yourself a mini Dolly 🐹
I've had 11 guinea pigs over the years, 4 currently. & even though I love all my pigs, I definitely have had a special bond with 3 in particular. They other 2 have passed away, & I'll be truly devastated when the other one goes. His name is checkers (I always call him little one) & he's very special to me. He doesn't get along with other guinea pigs, I don't know why. So to make sure he doesn't get too lonely, I always keep him with me. So he's definitely imprinted on me. When in first got him, he was this tiny little thing (hense why I started calling him little one & the nickname stuck.) But now he is the largest guinea pig I've ever owned.
I rescued a pregnant piggie from a hoarding situation last week. She's due in about a week and I am over-the-moon excited! I will definitely be bringing them to LAGPR for health checks
I am fostering a rescue momma who is 5 months old and had FIVE pups. It was very scary towards the end as this was my first go pregnancy and was very worries. Super happy they're all happy, healthy, and now 11 days old!
Awhh, I miss my Chester. The mama looks exactly like him but he had a crested head. My Chester was my Emotional Support Animal and pasted a year ago due to old age. Great video 💙🐝💙
Awe how adorable I just rehomed my 2 male Guinea pigs it was so hard but its what was best for them I have 2 young kids and they were so scared of them (the Guinea pigs were) I had them 7 months and tried every day to get them to calm down but they wernt comfortable at all so I gave them to a family with more time than me and older kids who loves animals and it was like they instantly calmed down they kept there names my daughter picked too so that's amazing
I just saw a video of bunnies being born and they were hairless. When I saw these guinea pigs had fur I was surprised, until I saw the explanation of them being in the womb longer. So cute. And how the mom was cleaning her babies, I'm imagining them thinking, alright already. I'm clean, I'm clean. :-)
the self grooming made me giggle cause all i thought was "hold on little ones mama's got to look her best"
Lol that was funny!!
MarrisaPlays 😂
More like "hold on, I need to eat all the evidence"
Lol!
Lol nothing to see here.. Lol got it done nicely and still look beautiful...
Every time I see baby piggies I marvel at how adorably ridiculous huge their ears are. Like the have to grow into them. Its so darling!
TheTypomouse and their bums!
And their feet! I wonder if their feet grow at all lol, they look adult sized right away
I'm a hamster guy so everytime I see guinea pigs being born it bamboozles me that they can act and move on their own and do whatever they want.

SAME but I want to get into guenia pigs too, Im probably getting 2 guenia pigs after I do enough research and know I'm ready!
Wait so hamsters can’t move after birth?
I breed mice, so I was also mindblown that they're so quick to be up and about!
@@LosAngelesGuineaPigRescue lol and their claws are razor sharp! I’ve never had that with any adult boy or girl lol always babies I swear!

Your calm, sweet voice in this video reminds me of Cinderella dressing her mice. Such a sweet soul to care for animals the way you do.

Thank you for filming this! It’s sad she was pregnant so young, but what a good little mama she is! She did exactly what she needed to do.
Stupidly I had no idea that baby guinea pigs were born like tiny guinea pigs! I thought they were hairless like mice. Beyond adorable!!
Aww such cute babies! And the mom is also super cute! Wish the best for them 💞💞💞
That is so lovely that Ginny has been reunited with her family
Aww its like the family sent her to a safe pregnancy and birth center, and now shes going back home with her babies

Ever heard of hamsters? 😂😂😂
How amazing it is to see babies being born. 🐖🧺
How do they all fit in there!? Also, imagine if humans gave birth to babies almost half of their body's size. Ouchy
Ouch 😂
And even more shocking about 2 hours after such a delivery they are ready to be bred again by a male
I am very curious to know how big the momma was that had 10?!?!?
I realize I am pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
