Thanks for this informative video and I just purchased that bracket for myself from StormTroopinTransit. Ford is supposed to start building my 350HD DRW EL in mid January and I can't wait to get started on my full time home. Following you closely RichBuilt.

@@RichBuilt So I sent my money to Scott several months ago and still have not received this custom mount. I keep getting the run around and have asked for tracking info but have gotten nothing. I have messaged him several times on Instagram. I just texted him and I guess we'll see where that gets me. BEWARE folks if you plan to TRY and purchase this item.

I really like the mounting point you did. What are your plans to store the table when driving? or with passengers and driving?
It stays put in that position while driving, but it will be stored under my bench seat when not in use.

was that left or right leg unit?
For the lagun table? I think it was a left leg, since the handles are on the left side when mounted looking straight on
How sturdy is it? Does it wiggle or wobble?
Hey Eric - the bracket is very sturdy, the lagun mount itself is not the most sturdy but it works great for eating on and working on a laptop.
What thickness birch plywood did you use?
I think 1/2" but I ended up not using this as the final table. I just used a simple prefinished white 12x15 white drawer front for the table.
@@RichBuilt gotcha. I’m making mine 20”x36” so I can seat 4 at the table. I want to use 1/2 inch but Im afraid it might be to long for that size. Thoughts?
@@MaIigs41 I think that 1/2 won't be an issue. Your weak point will be the horizontal leg of the lagun mount. As soon as you put excessive weight on the table, the compression fitting of the horizontal member will start to slip off the top of the vertical member of the lagun mount. Maybe mock up a couple different sizes and see which one works best.

Hi Thomas, I actually got it second hand off of facebook marketplace so I don't know, but either left or right should work. the handles are to the left when mounted looking straight on.

Storm troopin transit hasn’t responded to my message on Instagram. (30 days) I’m guessing he has sold out his product run. I’m thinking of fabricating a bracket myself. Can you please tell me how thick your bracket is? I’m guessing 1/4” but I don’t like guessing…
Also how has the bracket and lagun mount in that location been working for you over the last six months? Would you recommend any adjustments?
