Can't wait for your upcoming review on the E-405 clone coverage to hear its sonic performance in comparison to your highly endorsed NHB-108 and FM300A clone amps. Each to its own, I guess. Also depends on the preamp and speaker choice combination. IMHO, a synergy factor matters often in most hifi set-up.
@@2011FM yes, at this level they are all brilliant and it's like flavor differences. I also have really big expectations for E405 as clone specs say this one is able to drive 2Ohm loads perfectly fine (!)
@@k4syxHello dear friend. Please kindly update when the E-405 full review will be released. Hopefully this coming weekend. I am totally curious whether its extra pricetag over the NHB-108 & FM300A will justify a better sonic performance. @@2011FM Thank you for your kind words! I hope I will manage to get this listening sessions and video done when I'm back from my vacation in a few days. I am very curious about E405 as it says officially that it supports 2Ohm loads and my Logans go as low as 1.2 in the treble. Both DartZeel clone and FM clones are amazing (as MF clone is too) and I see why at some level it's hard to just point your finger and say "it's better". I like to think about it as similar to answering the question "which one is better: Ferrari or Lamborghini?". At this level it's about equipment matching, taste in music, output power needed etc. I'm planning to do a comparison video when I'll get all of them (some clones are still in transport)
It took a long time for my A-S1200 to settle in - it went in stages. It had better focus after about 500 hours, but now, after three years, it has gotten smoother, with just a touch of warmth. I’ve noticed the same thing with my Schiit Modi Multibit DAC.
Thanks for the great video. Burn in is real and I have tested it many times before. The strongest or most obvious effect of burn in is after recapping.
Nicely explained. It is funny how many parts/tools we share together, Tuya Smart Plug, Mini PC, Thermometer, Antivibration legs and number of years in engineering etc. 😊😅
There is also something I have experienced which is that every time I connect a new component, my system always sounds better after 1 day. Maybe like time to settle for cables after a certain disruption.
I rebuilt my amplifier (Pioneer SA7800) out of: 2sc3519 & 2sa1386 OP 2sc4793 & 2sa1837 Driver BC639 & BC640 (will be changed to 2sc1845 and ksa992f, and some higher current voltage stage will be KSC3503 and KSA1381E) The only advatage that those know is that they have lower Cob, its not 7pf like bc639 and bc640 have, its only 1.6pf on 2sc1845 and ksa992f and those ksc's have 1.8-2.6pf. which means it gonna have lower noise in my prediction, for now i have a bit of noise in this unit which i can hear.
@@Uraim yes the cool thing is that semiconductor parts got better since these vintage audio equipment was built - same as passive parts - so rebuilding actually makes them better!
Yes I have a question: 🙂 why not? 🙂 your speaker system here I cannot see how you do this explane and show perhaps mere precise if you like. I only have two ports how can I connect two wires four poles? etc. I think I know but want to be sure. ;-) Burn in: I use a classical radiosender 24/7 it has all kinds of music and talk I think this is most diverse sound and only so when I'm gone and just not to loud so that neighbors don't hear it.
@@onnonugteren2935 yes that's also fine and will work as well, it will just take longer for the same hours count. Connecting speakers of phase helps with running them quieter, but it doesn't matter if you leave the house :)

Have you tried sprinkling Nepalese spring water on your cables to improve the treble? Of course, the cables need to be oriented north-south before you do this!!!

The average recommended burn-in period is about one week longer than the return period.
In Europe you have between 14 and 30 days for returns, so apparently recommended European burn in times should be longer, right? :)
