Hello Beautiful People!
In this episode we drove the scenic portion of national route 40 "The Road of the Seven Lakes" (Spanish: Camino de los Siete Lagos) between the towns of San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura in the Neuquén Province, in Patagonia Argentina.
The road that crosses the Lanín and Nahuel Huapi national parks provides access to several lakes in the forest area of the Patagonic Andes, as well as to other sights.
The seven most important lakes on the way of the road after which the route is named are: Machónico, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, Lácar, Falkner, Villarino
Other lakes accessible through secondary paths include the Meliquina, Hermoso, Traful and Espejo chico lakes.

First, I love you both. I thought the Stay with Me section of this video where you are running and handing the camera to each other was the most romantic video I have ever seen. It made me cry because I was married to my ex-wife for 20 wonderful years and we did things like that -- but never with a video camera. We were simpatico like you two, but then it ended. All I could think is that you will have this happy time on video with each other forever. And even if something happens someday, which I pray does not, but even if you go different directions, you will always remember this magical moment here by the lake. Where you are traveling together, sharing your lives and your love with us, and happy. I love you so much. And yes, I love Sara's impression of the duck. :)

Luca, you are one really, great guy and you’re blessed to share your life with an incredibly beautiful, talented and genuine traveling companion. I was so touched at how your sweetheart cared for you after the dog bite… and how you reacted about the dog, showing a true understanding of how the dog was as surprised by the drone and how he reacted to a new and scary thing. Your love for life and all things living showed brightly in that experience. How the two of you are there for each other
I love how you embrace the full essence of the cultures where you are. Your foray into Argentinian meat, especially the meat pizza, was a big part of why I love you two so much. You know how to embrace and look with your hearts, as the Little Prince taught you well, that the most essential things are not seen, but felt.
Luca, your prowess at resolving the bearing problem on your front wheel is nothing less than genius. I missed that video and just caught it yesterday… That ability to adapt and when you don’t have the correct tool, you just fabricated what you needed, is an integral skill that makes possible what you’re doing. True Italian creativity at it’s finest… (BTW, I work one block from a Maserati and Ferrari dealership north of Atlanta and I’ve come to truly marvel at Italian engineering.)
Don’t burn yourselves out… Pace yourselves. I hope you’re planning to come back up through Argentina and Brazil. You’re doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing since I lived in the south of France for a couple years 45 years ago… What you’re doing is best done in your youth while you’re still strong and healthy.

Love your story and adventures. I am keen to follow your footsteps and it’s very close. Only 14 more days of work life and our adventure will begin. First a month in Costa Rica, then home to Yukon to start purging all the useless stuff that has been consuming our lives so we can be free to wander as well. When we are ready, we hope to take a van from Tuktoyuktuk on the Arctic Ocean and follow the Pan-American Highway through Patagonia. The gimbal footage looks great, it makes it much easier to watch. The 360 view in the truck was good for a giggle. As always Luca, your drone piloting is spot on. Please do follow through on the idea of behind the scenes how to. You two are really beautiful people.
