Happy to help Ian! Well if you do it alone I'd say you can comfortably get 15-20+ QUALITY ones.
But getting a VA to help you out you can run it up to 50-100+ quality links per month no problem :)

I feel like this won’t be successful in the long term with Google becasuse there’s no info gain with this…as with all AI it’s just all regurgitated information…you’re not adding anything new.
A lot of websites won’t even do guest posts anymore because of AI. They’re writing their own articles themselves using AI so they don’t need guest posts.
A lot isn't all, so you can still build links this way :)
This is mostly for the link-juice, not for the "creation of value"
Good video, although I wished you would have talked a little bit slower so we could actually understand and process everything you are saying. And maybe also add captions in the video so we can follow along with the steps rather than just relaying on said steps.

Yes. Not harmful but extremely low quality. You might be just fine without them tbh. But then again, if you are struggling and have nothing else in place for back links then you can try this for a bit before you move on to better stuff. The guy is of course more into promoting his writing tool but I don't blame him. You gotta try selling however you can and if his tool produces fine content atleast on par with everything else out there then there is no stopping people to doing all kinds of good things with that content. People just need to know what to do lol

Ideally you'd spend more time than I did to find proper links yea. I showed a few examples of what's a bad site (i.e. one you don't want to go for) and another semi-decent one.
The more research you make the better links you'll find, but at the end of the day, whether they advertise it or not, every single website has a price..even Forbes.
So I don't think them advertising it is bad.
In fact, they're advertising "guest posting" which can be a good thing. They're allowing people to contribute to the growth of their blog.
Now ofc there's a ton of nuance here but backlinks work, and this is what I do and have seen great success with throughout the years.
A great strategy you can follow is simply look at the backlinks your competitors have and then replicate them.
It's simple:
1. check your competitor's backlink profile on Ahrefs
2. sort through the backlink data to find the best links
3. reach out to those sites asking how much they charge
it's another great method I use
