In the first isekai dnd adventure, we face a magical slime trapped in an enchanted forest. Daniel the were-meerkat, Theo the dwarf alchemist, and Elias the dungeon master set off on a journey that probably every other dnd session faced. This podcast recording took us over an hour to record, which means we took an hour to kill some slimes. Anyway, if these role-players die 3 times in 1 episode, the series end abruptly, so... best of luck adventurers!

Dan underestimated how much we'd enjoy him dealing with the frustration of starting over again and again and making it Elias' problem.
I love seeing how dan keeps messing up because Elias answer is always way to logical 😂

As a fellow DM for D&D, I get a lot of Elias bafflement. No matter how simple the answer we give our players, they will always find a way to either mess it up hilariously, go with a solution we didn't consider, or the dice will be cursed.
Wait this can actually continue for a while? That sounds awesome! A real series for this channel with a story sounds amazing, can't wait to see where this goes

I'm excited for upcoming episodes of this, unless they stop doing it sometime like the "can you survive an rpg game". BUT if they do make more episodes of this, this will definitely cure my depression YAYY!!
Also, that fact that Daniel and Theo just continue on with the plot and forget important details that Elias was telling them and realize that that was part of the narration after doing terrible actions was hilarious.

It's as if Daniel and Elias switched roles-which they did, but-I mean, When Daniel was the narrator, Elias usually extended the situation and kept asking questions that Daniel never thought of because the questions Elias asked were within the plot but strange and kinda out there, something that Daniel didn’t imagine, but now that Elias is the narrator, Daniel is just messing up the situation and being creative but not in the way Elias imagined it. Which is incredibly fascinating and amusing in my opinion, since I get to see Daniel in settings where he is not the narrator, as well as Elias as the narrator with his extended monologue, it’s kinda like just my typing, why am I typing so long. there’s no point… why am I even typing this? Why am I here. No one is going to care or read this. 🗿

To be fair Dan, you made yourself a were-meerkat at the behest of Elias
5:55 get some sodium, throw it on the slime and watch it explode and burn.
6:54 you have a broken pickaxe and an alchemist who is jacked. You could use the broken pickaxe by putting it into s tree to climb it easier or slide down a rope with it but you should probably just burn the slime and exit the forest. Or lure it out it check it’s behaviour pattern. It might be more valuable alive.
7:23 chloride is very flammable.

8:49 can you use any chemicals to eradicate it efficiently. Or is it magnetic, heat resistant, freezable, can you use vibrations to kill it, can you use vibrations to counter its environmental perception? Is there any other obvious weakness or can you decrease its viscosity to destroy its structural integrity?

10:41 You can hide or create a fire slime and blame the forest fire on that.
11:40 that would have been important information. I forgot his name (the alchemist (sorry i am bad at remembering names)) could have found out about these properties when he got attacked by that one slime. They have like a relatively strong viscosity (and if the animations are canon) they have a more viscous shell which could allow for way more attacks.
