This thing is LOUD! It's way louder then what I can make with my other typical diaphragm calls. Does take a bit of practice I had some trouble but with learning how you say to use it I think I can clean it up. Looking forward to seeing how many I can call in this season!
Just scooped one here in Canada 100$ at cabelas honestly one of the best sounding calls I’ve ever heard I have some family that use mouth reeds and been working on their calls for years now and this thing in 5 minutes of practice sounds better and my god is it loud headed out for a early November moose and elk hunt next week really excited to give it a try in the field and more importantly give it a try next year in September during rut
Found this from today's Meat Eater podcast. I'll be getting one of these for NM elk trip. Had used an old version not really similar...but kind of like it....as it there was no in mouth diaphragm. It was an old Sceery call. I like the ability to use a diaphragm if I want and the aluminum tube is getting way into the kilohertz range...love it.
Been using a diaphragm with ok results for three years. Getting ready for this trip I could not get it down for some reason. Panic bought the EZ Bugle and was able to make the best calls of my life in 5-10 minutes. Took a bit to get the hang of the chuckle until Jason said "Puff out your cheeks" That was all I was missing, now its easy and sounds good. I cannot get the lip bawl, would love some more cues on how exactly to do that?
Buzz on the right side or left of your lips. Put the mouthpiece on the corner of your mouth, and buzz your lips on the latex letting air flow into the tube. Watch the video again for lip placement
Watch this video. Though this his video is regarding diaphragm use, Dirk buzzes his lips in demonstration, which relates to the same way you would buzz on the EZ Bugler.

Just got mine in the other day. My daughter hates it so far lol. And my neighbor came out side and said “I thought something was dying” lol

Put someone who can’t bugle….on it. Dirk can bugle on a Kazoo better then 99.9% of us!
Haha, we’ll get some folks to blow it soon👍🏻 PS, I need an elk Kazoo 😂

Can you take the EZ bugler part off the tube if you were wanting to blow a cow call through the tube?
Yep, it pops off.
When you say “buzz it” when lip balling what exactly does that mean?

@@PhelpsGameCalls awesome thank you!

Please email dirk@phelpsgamecalls.com
When its going to be in stock again? And do u guys deliver to canada?
It's in stock👍🏼
How would you do barks?
Barks are an exaggerated grunt or chuckle. Use more air pressure👍🏻
I want one and don’t even hunt elk!!
"Berry's Thunder Bugle" were the originals. I think Rocky Mountain has one now too. Love "Thunder bugle"
This thing crushes theirs…..
@@THEBUGLERBRAND haven't used one yet. But Berry's is very good and very easy to use. I use my Rocky Mtn. Tube more though.
