Grew up watching and admiring his discipline. At 66 now I still train 5 days a week after 40 years of committed exercise and training. Just finished Ryan Rumsfields 30 day 6 day training regiment and before that Joe Manganelos 6 week session where a trainer pushed me. Stallone and Arnold both a real inspiration since day one and remain so today. Self discipline the real mental test over many years. I hope to keep up with what they strive for everyday. A way of life in pushing the limits of the human body we were born with. What a ride so far. Great times.
I have no idea how you are able to recover from so many days training. I train 4 days a week and struggle to recover from those some weeks. I suppose it depends on how hard you train. I think you might make better use of your time in terms of effort in and results out. Just a thought.

I also train at Hot Worx in 125 degrees dry sauna room either rowing cycling or elliptical at Hot Worx for two 15 minute each intervals to limber up and to assist with soreness. But during the regiments listed diet plays a factor to recover and keep up. 6 small chicken breasts thruout the day for.snacks as well as dried fruits and almonds. And at least for me two Muscle Milk Zeros for a total of 40 grams of additional protein. Without the increase of food and protein and carbs I wouldnt make it emergy wise. And would be hammered dragging a... Plus plenty of supllements which has been constant for the last 40 years . Especially Tumeric. In two weeks I start over with Ryans 30 day 6 week program with a trainer pushing. But this time lower weights and fewer reps. Focused on form. Not quantity and not weight amount. Good luck

He told me I need to use steroids to compete with others. At that time I was too naive and believed to join competitions without these things. So I decided to continue my training without using it and of course I didnt join any competition because no chance of course. I still find myself being busy with leight weights because I just can not use more weight. Of course I could increase a bit but not like they do. I also did my training 4-5 times a week. So for me its sure they have to use additional supplements or steroids to do their training they do at that age. Of course they have a lot of knowledge and a personal trainer on their side and medical support. Of course it would be different again if I would have time the whole day to concentrate on my workout in the morning afternoon and evening. But life is different and I would do same if I would be in their shoes :-)

I'm one of those who love Stollone. He's a great actor forever. In fact he did a shooting of his "RAMBO III" in our vellage temple in which he was seen fixing a bullock cart wheel and hammering gold plates on the top of pagoda when his boss Col. Hotman came to talk to him about what had happened in Afganistan. And I still kept one of the photoes of him offering a bundle of gold leaves to our head-teacher-monk.

Stallone's physique is very impressive. It's guys like him who inspired me to stop drinking, stop junkfood, and start working out at age 64. 3x /wk intensely on my Soloflex or free weights, long walks, and short runs. In two years I've lost 40 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle. I'm literally much stronger in every way than ever before. No way I'll ever get close to a physique like Sylvester but people comment on my weight loss and muscles. For the first time, I like what I see in the mirror and am proud to take my shirt off in public. It's never too late to start.
If you have above average genetics & you take Steroids, HGH,, Peptides, and Sarms, then you to can match Sly's Physique in roughly 2 years. He 's been taking Peds since the 80s. I'm 63 and thought it would be impossible to stay fit knowing that the metabolism slows. Watching this, i have a great respect for his training. I might need to change things a bit, but nothing is impossible.

This is a great example to people that old age doesn't have to come with weakness, flab and sickness. If you give your body a reason to keep working it will. If you just sit around in your old age your body will shutdown. My dad spent most of his life working 7 days a week, mostly manual work. I don't really remember him being sick. He retired in his late sixties a healthy man, stopped all his activity and he was almost immediately sick and has constant health problems now.

He's one of my inspirational legendary gentlemen who l respect and look up to, l got his movies in my top collection, to the likes of Chuck Norris, Don Wilson, Benny the jet urquidez, Philip Rhee and other great action stars. I have seen many guys who are in their 50s or less can't do the training or physical activities then Stallone, may he continue to inspire us for a long time.

I believe the gear is beyond steroids and HGH ! No doubt he has lived a healthy, active lifestyle, and has good genetics, but as you suggested there is much more going on . I’m 69 and without gear which I never used , my once 18 3/4” arms are now 17” . My body is not hard like when I was in my fifties. I wish Stallone continued good health, appreciate the motivation he provides, but a little honesty wouldn’t hurt .

I wish I could work out like sly, but have shoulder problems from bench press which has made me use a multi grip bar but still have to use light weights. I was 19 when I started using weights. I am now 67 but don't want to stop using weights.

@@Frankiarmz no Stallone doesn’t have good genetics (look at his body in the first Rocky movie)….. however, with fame comes money 💰 and the ability to pay for the best personal trainers and diet advisers / chefs as well as a personal physician (if you know what I mean 😉)

Very few men respongd to weight training better than Stallone. He is a phenom. Six pack at age 75.. Kudos to you Sly.. and I know you work at it. a LOT

I wish I could work out like sly, but have shoulder problems from bench press which has made me use a multi grip bar but still have to use light weights. I was 19 when I started using weights. I am now 67 but don't want to stop using weights.
I changed from bench press to dumbell press and my shoulders feel much better.
