Stacey, you did a fantastic job capturing your experience on this older ship, and I felt like I was with you ~ truly beautiful. 😍 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato

Me too @threelittlepotters! I hadn't been on this ship in many years since Pre-Revolutionizing so it was a very pleasant surprise!

I loved your video. Can you send me the link for different ways to save on airlines. You mentioned that on your video but I can’t find the comment. Thanks

Way, way, better ship for Alaska than the Edge IMO. And I like the redone staterooms much more than the Edge ships staterooms as well. Plus the Edge has no Rendezvous Lounge, you have to dance in the Martini Bar that feels like you're in a lobby.
The age of this ship isn't that important. It's fine. It's refurbished. And it's a big ship at 91,000 tons, not a small ship. What I don't like is the retreat only spaces that is similar to what's going on with the Edge ships. But at least this ship has a forward facing lounge the passengers can enjoy if there isn't some private event going on in it.

Yep I agree - though I've yet to try an Edge class but from everything I've seen online, I hear what you're saying. Glad they invested in these updates... it really makes a huge difference!

was on the summit in june of this year in alaska.. good cruise but the ship needs to be retired and would not recommend this ship going forward

really? what did you dislike most about the ship? I think I went in with low expectations because she's an older ship so I ended up impressed...

@@grandvoyagestv the food was pretty bad .. the buffet was probably the best food on the ship and the shows were pretty basic and bad . The options for entertainment were pretty bad .I was in this ship 5 years ago and they haven’t changed anything. As it’s a old rusty boat

@@rlpatton1970 appreciate your opinion on all that! Agree about the buffet being good and didn't attend shows or do any of the entertainment options so can't comment on that. Thanks for the feedback!

@@rlpatton1970 Food is variable and shows are easy to change out. Ships should have a life of 30 years and should not be seen as disposable. The ship was properly refurbished and has a lot of new furnishings in it.
