James - brilliantly played. What impressed me almost as much as your technical genius is the fact that you did all the registration and page turning on your own. Many organists would have had an assistant. Brilliantly done.

Bravo! Not only was the technique and musicality at its finest but also you played the building acoustics perfectly. I really appreciate that musical sense: it is true artistry!

A magnificent rendition of the piece. Upon his passing I performed a small Improvisation on Veni Creator in his memory. I sent a copy to his wife Marie who expressed deep appreciation for the piece. It was not great but was heart felt, which is what music is about. I thoroughly enjoy your performances.

Superbly played! The organ sounds magnificent...this performance makes the claims that it needs to be junked seem baffling, to put it mildly. Thanks.

Only James could make the claim that this performance should be junked. Where are you coming up with this crap? Or are you just repeating something someone else said... ? And this is not a mute point.
This is magnificent. Breath taking. I could have wet my pants. The truth is self-evident. James needs nothing... except to run around the block, eat well and time to deal with a broken heart, maybe (2019). His love is obvious; his genius real and recognized around the world. His compositions will follow. We are grateful.

@@charlesdavis7087 Charlie, me boy, you need to read more carefully before springing into print: what I said was that the PERFORMANCE was so fine that it made me question the need to junk the Aeolian-Skinner organ on which it was made (which, in fact, happened). Get it??

Excellent! Very tasteful dynamics and tempo; more to my liking along with Walter Hillsman's recording at Coventry Cathedral (not to found on You Tube; other YT performance offerings rush through the Toccata as if the churches were on fire).

brilliant performance in many ways; Great rhythmic control but at the same time in the middle quiet section delicate rubato. Single handed registration which was imaginative and very varied (so many performances just go for getting rid of the big reeds and slamming the swell box shut). Shame he never had a page turner - even though he managed it magnificently you felt it distracted.
