As in “fake” being the opposite of real/biological. I don’t think it’s to hurt the lil girl’s feelings but that’s not his daughter. I believe her anger is directed towards him. This has Maury and Jerry energy, but Karamo seems to be a lot more experienced with the dynamics of the dysfunction and trying to lead them towards success in one show. The amount of self-awareness he’s bringing to this 24yo’s and 31yo’s lives in that moment are more than they can process in one episode. It’s a wonderful starting point for healing the damage, but it’s still up to them to see that and figure out if that’s important. The drama is pulling from the past and maybe that’s why this seems so cringy. Living in the present is the goal.
