OK, Lulu Sun has no prior victories that can be measured as great as what she did today. She is ranked 123 for very good reason and ranking is a measure of consistency in 52 weeks of a year. She did not play the FO because she lost the last qualifying match to a player than ranked much lower than her, she only won 3 games. What is stunning is the result she got in the past week, she made it past the qualify round then beat No.8 seed in first round, managed to beat Zhu Lin and Raducanu. She is playing a game that we are not expecting from someone ranked 123 in the world. That is what is stunning about her. When I watched her match against Zhu Lin, it was stunning to see she actually save 15 out of 18 break points she faced in the match, she played way better on these pressure points for someone with her ranking. Her game is daring.

Sun is ranked 123. Raducanu is ranked 135. With that logic, both Raducanu and Sun should of lost their matches because they both beat players that are in the top 50. How was it expected for Sun to win? I expected a close match with Sakkari and Raducanu but it wasn't. Again I was expecting a close match with Sun and Raducanu and I was right. Sun played a more aggressive match and I turned out to make a bet with Sun to win.
