    Sorry, additional note: Ashton Kutcher immediately fired longtime friend Masterson and cut all ties with him when the allegations were made.
    The reason there was ZERO room for discussion, doubt, or debate for Kutcher is he still is head of the nonprofit organization THORN. THORN works with data mining on social media services to locate and rescue missing and exploited children.
    They ask that you take pictures of the inside of hotels and bathrooms and post photos AFTER you return home. Their computer software then tries to match the backgrounds of pictures of these children in efforts to determine where they are being held or sold.

      It was actually Netflix that forced the firing. I'm disappointed in Ashton as he has kept 100% silent on this entire situation which means he could still be friends and supportive. Not only that but Danny was fired on 12/8/18 yet a few months later there were pics posted of them partying together at a wedding. I have a feeling they are quietly supporting him until a verdict but I would hope they would listen to the testimony and think twice about still being friends.

    • @MichiaMakes
      @MichiaMakes Год назад +3

      @@Star_R666 Thank you for the information. Makes me wonder if he forgot he has kids. I’m always shocked when someone it’s so passionate about a project protecting a group of people, in this case children, but completely turn a blind eye to the same actions happening in front of them.
      We see it all the time. The same mom who says she’s rip the balls off a man for touching her kid, doesn’t even believe her kid when they tell her they have been touched. I will never understand it.

    • @Star_R666

      @@MichiaMakes I agree - the mother's that drive me crazy are the ones that put the men in their life over their children because of money (helping with bills and rent). The only thing I can think of as far as Ashton is, he thinks he knows this great guy and can't believe he would do this. I hope he read the transcripts are believes them. I also think of Bijou and what's going through her head. She had to have seen some of those behaviors at one time or another. What probably bothers me the most after reading all the testimony is that it's so obvious that several of his friends were aware of what he does and never did a thing to stop it. Disgusting

    Larry, and they DID report it to the church immediately. That's documented. Some of the victims were raised in scientology. So at first it may not have occured to go to police. Reporting it to the church would have been normal and natural for them and they first thought the church would help them and do something. They thought they were reporting it properly and dealing with it how they were supposed to. Followers of scientology are isolated and brainwashed.

    I don’t understand…she testified that she woke up in the middle of the night and still couldn’t see. She’s had no vision. She then felt her way to “a door” that she thought was an exit and, instead, it was a closet. At that point she blacked out again, unable to move (from the drugging, imo). It wasn’t until she woke up again and realized she was in a closet and crawled out, at which point, Danny saw her, laughed at her and asked her what she was doing, picked her limp body up and put her on the bed, where she blacked out again. THEN she woke up next to the monster. THAT was what she testified. It was horrific, and I will never forget the disgust I felt as she described that experience. How unbelievable SCARY!!!!

    Sounds like they had no evidence just stories from someone who has everything to gain and nothing to lose

    Wait. One of the Jane's went back to having regular sex with him? Multiple times? Listen, I think this guy's a creep. But you have to judge people on principles. It doesn't have anything to do with relationships being rigid. Scenario: Girl spanks the hell outta this guy during multiple sex sessions and the guy keeps coming back time after time. As time passes, the guy no longer has a sexual relationship with her. Guy then accuses the girl of sexual assault because of the spanking. I think most of us would agree that is silly.
    This doesn't belittle or lessen any of the other Jane's experiences. But sexual assault happens when you are subjected to things against your will. And I think it's very important to vocalize anything that's against your will. If you do not vocalize any objections, it's very hard for anyone to read your mind.
    And let me tell you one thing as word of caution. And please do take this to heart. Being ostricized by a community is NOT worse than sexual assault. I know you were trying to be emotional in that comparison. But please, reconsider comparing anything at all to sexual assault no matter how severe.

    I dunno many cases of anal sex being consensual. I could be wrong but of what I've read, it rarely is.

      It’s not an intentional slip of the mouth, give him a break! I don’t see you up there, doing public speaking, off the top of your head…. We ALL know what he means, there’s no reason to get triggered by his small unimportant mistake in verbiage. There’s bigger fish to fry here!

    Ortega was not as optimistic. The jury came into the courtroom later. They seemed frustrated and wanted more information and walked out again frustrated
